o Highly proficient in interpretations of all kinds of drawings like piping drawings i.e. GAD, P&ID and Isometric, Mechanical Equipment drawings.

o Inspection of pressure test (Hydro) according to piping class, test limits accordance to (SATIP-A- 004-02).
o Interacting with other department like planning department, QA/QC department, Design department, Warehouse.
o Guiding the bolt torqueing and alignment of flanged joints with correct gasket, stud-bolts and nuts as per drawings and project specification.
o Coordinate with Field Engineers for preparing As built Drawings and clearance
o Coordinating all documentation and correspondences with client.
o Inspect fit up prior to full welding & ensure that only qualified welders are allowed to perform in accordance with the approved WPS.
o Perform visual Inspection on completed welds for the occurrence of Porosity, cracks, Undercuts, spatter & arc strike prior to NDT.
o Daily Activity reports.
o Ensuring implementation of Quality Control Plan, Procedure, and Inspection & Test Plan.
o Co-ordination of all testing, punch clearance and rectification activities leading a Team of pipe fitters, welders and mechanical technicians.

Check vents are open when filling and draining lines. Monitoring and inspecting the erection works by the subcontractors including piping, welding and insulation and also Co-ordination with client and subcontractors for the quality issues and issuing NCR’s when non-conformity activities were noted by the sub contractors.
o Inspect fit up prior to full welding & ensure that only qualified welders are allowed to perform in accordance with the approved WPS
o Monitor piping erection at site & perform all related inspection during the fabrication &erection.
o Make sure the trenches are proper barricaded with tapes &barriers.
o Inspection of adhesive materials storage in a proper enclosure.
o Inspection of joint preparation as per vendor Recommendations.
o Make sure the bottom of the trench shall be dry continuous smooth & free from pebbles or rocks.
o Inspection of proper tools & tackles for the RTR joints like pipe shavers, heating blankets band clamps etc.
o Make sure the pipe location & elevation shall be marked by the surveyor.
o Sound knowledge in process piping, hydro testing & pneumatic test.
o Knowledge of fire and safety procedures

o Able to read P&ID, isometric drawing, welding symbols, familiarized in codes/standards and able to identify material specification & it equivalent composition.
o Manage the prefabrication works by the contractors including the inspection of incoming materials, material handling, heat number transfer, Fit up, welding activities, post weld heat treatment of welding jobs, hardness test, reinforced pad test, orientation and flush grinding of orifice flanges.
o To assist the Site Superintendent and coordinate the Supervisors activity, carry out and implement the QA/QC program, arrange and conduct meetings under the Site Superintendent direction.
o Arrange meeting to ensure completion of category “A” punch items, prior to hydro testing. Follow-up with contractor’s to complete all the “B” category punch items as per agreed punch list & according to the project schedule.
o Inspecting the incoming materials for damages dimensions & corrosions ensure that MTC is available according to the requirement. Ensure satisfactory identification of materials, proper protection of piping &fittings.
