•Individually operated two thermal desorption-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (TD-GC-MS) systems
•Assisted in operating two ion chromatography (IC) systems

,Examining air pollution emission impacts from long-range transport, off-gassing from offshore oil and gas activities, oceanic emissions contributed by phytoplankton blooms, flaring, and on-site combustion on Sable Island, Nova Scotia, Canada. •Primary focus in investigating the emissions of trace gases and aerosols related to phytoplankton growth in the ocean around Sable Island. *This ongoing research was recently absorbed into a larger 5-year NASA project entitled the North Atlantic Aerosols and Marine Ecosystems Study (NAAMES).
