- Reporting to the CEO and Board of Directors.

- Participating in top management meetings to improve the performance and increase the efficiency of company.

- Having a meeting with the CEO on quarterly basis to discuss the achieved revenue.

- Prepare consolidated reports to the management and address any specific problem or concerns related to any project.

- Achieving the yearly objectives set by top management.

- Preparing Revenue Projection on yearly basis.

- Preparing annual budget for the department.

- Preparing cash flow for the awarded projects or expected to be awarded.

- Prioritize and determine existing and future resources and personnel requirements in order to meet the current workload and future demands.

- Set yearly objectives and KPIs for the subordinates.

- Appraise the subordinates and colleagues on annually basis.

- Working on Research & Developments for new products according to the market needs.

- Registering new products in Oil & Gas and especially for Aramco.

- Worked on the ERP development during the design phase in order to cover all processes either in proposals, engineering or projects stage.

- Monitoring the budget consumption for materials and man-hours during project lifecycle.

- Working on detailed analysis for the time spent by all stakeholders per each project according to the timesheets.

- Taking corrective and preventive actions for the lesson learns.

- Ensure that all communications with clients are accurate in contents and according to company standards.

- Dealing with EPC contractors in financial, legal, commercial, and contractual aspects.

- Coordinate the work with mangers of other operating departments to develop directions and guidelines to ensure the schedules, critical milestones and procurement deliverables are met according to projects requirements.

- Communicate with clients as required and work for ensuring optimum tender price as well as effective post award hand over.

- Finalizing agreements with the suppliers and closing the deals for the new projects in collaboration with the supply chain manager.

- Developing pricing strategies and closing deals with clients in collaboration with the management to ensure that project and client requirements can be achieved.

- Provide direct input to proposals team to develop tenders and bids in compliance with client requirements and in accordance with company procedures and technical work instructions.



- Doing study analysis for the projects not awarded to AES to define the root cause and take corrective action for the next bidding.

- Furthermore to the above, I am still having the responsibilities of Operating Unit Manager as mentioned below.

- Managing a Business Unit Department for Chemical Injection Packages. The department includes CAD Operators, Documents Controller, Coordinator, Proposals, Process, Mechanical, Electrical, and Project Engineers.

- Reviewing new Contract Quotation Requests and agree with the Sales Manager whether to proceed or not.

- Work closely with the proposals engineers for the development of bids.

- Reviewing and Approving the technical/ commercial proposals and estimates before submitting to clients.

- Attending the Pre-Award Meetings and Kick Off Meetings in Saudi Arabia or Overseas.

- Reviewing engineering design works before submitting to clients.

- Approving the detailed engineering drawings (PID, GA, Isometric, Fabrication, etc...).

- Solving projects problems and guiding the engineers to solutions.

- Organize engineering work according to projects priorities.

- Working closely with project engineers and organizing the engineering works according to projects priorities.

- Approving timesheets of process, mechanical/ electrical design engineers, draftsmen and project engineers.

- Approving fabrication requests before sending to factory.

- Visiting factory frequently to follow-up the production and solving production problems (if any).

- Providing all applicable solutions for the problems during project execution after studying all resources.

- Following up the invoices with project engineers and clients.

- Approving the material requisitions for the projects.

- Following-up the pending issues either from client side or our side.

- Interviewing the candidates for my department or other departments in the company.

- Providing the department with positive environment to increase the productivity.

- Reading clients' specifications and comprehend their requirements.

- Assessing the process required to ensure its viability.

- Preparing process design, calculations, equipment sizing, preliminary drawings and P&I diagrams.

- Create Bill of Quantities (if not available).

- Contacting respective suppliers to collect components' prices.

- Prepare a high quality and professionally presentable offer in compliance with the clients’ requirements and company standard text formats.

- Produce an estimate for the clients' requirements.

- Participation in technical meetings with the client in Saudi Arabia and Overseas.

- Awareness of clients’ standards such as: Aramco, Sabic, Saudi Kayan, Kemya, Saudi Oger, Galfar, PDO, Zadco, Total, etc…

- Working on inquiries for different sectors such as:

• Oil & Gas.
• Chemical & Petrochemicals.
• Water & Wastewater.

- Working on the following systems:

• Brackish, High Brackish & Seawater Desalination Plants using Reverse Osmosis Membranes.
• Sewage Treatment Plants.
• Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plants.
• Grey Water Treatment Plants.
• Swimming Pools & Fountains.
• Filtration Systems.
• Demineralization Systems.
• Chemical Injection Systems.
• Odor Control Systems.
• Cooling Towers.
• Softener Systems.

- Reading clients' specifications and comprehend their requirements.

- Marketing different types of equipment and instruments related to water and wastewater treatment field.

- Marketing different type of chemicals especially Genesys Antiscalents related to RO plants.
