• Led instrument project installation work and commissioning activities for MRCSB Turnaround 2022 for Control Valves, Transmitters, PLC, DCS Controllers, SOVs, and Analyzers (Hydrogen & SWAS).
• Led the Management of Change (MOC) activities for RESET and Plant Change Delivery (PCDM) for Instrumentation works for TA2022, from review sessions with stakeholders up until MOC approval.
• Ensured the technical integrity, cost, schedules, constructability, operability, and maintainability were upheld and met to deliver a fit-for-purpose solution to the end-user (MRCSB).
• Participated in engineering design reviews, including hazard identification (HAZID), hazard operability (HAZOP), PDMS 3D Model Review, Constructability Study, and any other specialized engineering services, e.g., Fire & Gas Mapping.
• Ensured compliance with safety requirements by conducting safety audits and developing/reviewing job hazard analysis (JHA) with the HSE team.
• Facilitated and led any SWIFT Risk Assessment (RA) sessions for Instrument work packages to identify hazards, consequences, and mitigation plans.
• Conducted assessments of Instrument and Control assets, based on their asset life cycle and current condition.
• Identified deterioration mechanisms and assessed future asset life, resulting in short-term and long-term expenditure plans, cost analyses, and maintenance and replacement plans.

• Participated in technical design integrity checks of project deliverables to ensure compliance with PETRONAS Technical Standards (PTS), international codes and standards, best practices, and local authorities or government regulations.
• Checked vendor design calculations, documents, and drawings to ensure compliance with client specifications.

• Provide site engineering and construction support for BASF 2018 plant modification projects.
• Identify any new instruments against redline marked-up of P&ID given and prepare its relevant specification/datasheet and sizing calculation.
• Developed and reviewed Purchase Requisitions (PR), Material Take-Offs (MTO), Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), and Technical Clarifications (TC) for Instrument packages.
• Evaluated and reviewed equipment specifications, bid enquiry packages, and provision of engineering services for the purchase of instrumentation and control engineering-related materials and equipment.

• Prepared specifications for long lead items such as Wellhead Control Panels, Actuated On-Off Valves, Control Valves, Safety Relief Valves, and associated datasheets.
• Developed Instrument and Fire & Gas Schedules, Set Points, and I/O Lists.
• Prepared Scope of Work for Shutdown Systems (SDS) and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
• Prepared datasheets for field instruments, including Flow Elements and Flow/Pressure/Temperature/Level Transmitters, as well as Smart Wireless Gateways and Wireless Field Instruments.
• Reviewed Instrument drawings, such as system block diagrams, architecture drawings, hook-ups, loop diagrams, interconnection wiring, cable/tubing routing, and equipment layouts.
