With the illustration degree from SCAD I emphasized on conceptual thinking and translating that into 3D illustrations. I build my illustrations out of paper, wire, sculpey, and paint then photograph them in the studio to develop the finished piece. During my time at SCAD, I got published in the USA, took part of many exhibits and honorable mentions, as well as assisted in teaching illustration to undergraduates.
Through my BFA I first focused on mastering my traditional and foundation skills, I took required as well as extra curriculum classes in various drawing and painting ; figure drawing, perspective drawing , head and hands, Oil painting, Portrait & figure painting. Later, I applied these skills to digital illustration using Photoshop and Painter.
