• Provide health care in a medical spa setting for adult and geriatric patient populations which included the following:
• Advise patients and support medical professionals regarding treatment plans and lab interpretations. o Perform phlebotomy services as needed.
• Create IV therapy programs, oversee implementation of said programs, complete monthly inventory management and record keeping.
• Administer IV therapy including the process of admixing, starting the IV line, and monitoring the IV treatment through to completion.
• Maintain accurate IV records per state standards.
• Recommend hormone, supplement, botanical, nutritional and homeopathic support in addition to primary medical care.
• Management of staff, daily opening and closing, reconciliation of overdue accounts and charges.
• Perform IV therapy and IM procedures as part of modified patient care duties.
• Report to Medical Director and management.
Achievements: Doubled monthly revenue while keeping expenses flat from October 2017 until July 2018.
• Supervised all day-to-day practice operations including administrative and clinical staffing, patient appointment scheduling, time of service collections activity, payment and claims filing accuracy/posting.
• Assisted with the planning, development, and direction of capital expenditures, business objectives, departmental goals, and special projects.
• Lead in the preparation of departmental compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Awarded: Clinic of the Year 2015 for most improved staff metrics and highest clinic productivity.
• Facilitated the startup, recruitment process, hiring negotiations and management of operations for the Naturopathic Medicine Department.
• Developed and shared an on-boarding manual with hospital policies and orientation for new hires that was adopted by managers in other departments for their new-hires.
• Successfully planned and collaborated with interdisciplinary clinic teams, hospital management and executive leadership teams to achieve hospital accreditation requirements for the State of Georgia Joint Commission National Quality Approval. This was acquired January 10, 2013.
• Employed evidence-based strategies for recommendations of botanical and orthomolecular medicine, homeopathy and acupuncture for acute symptom management and long-term survivorship care.
Successfully applied for and was accepted for a leadership promotion after 18 months in this position.
