My key responsibilities included;
•Performing Planned General Inspections of the site, in line with the company Health & Safety policy.
•Recruiting the stock and systems team for the start-up of this new build DC.
•Managing teams of up to 28 Team Members and 5 Team Leaders, across 4 departments (stock, systems, returns & auditing teams).
•Assigning work, motivating and supporting the team.
•Providing regular performance reviews for each team member.
•Controlling and testing system changes, enhancements and fixes.
•Organising training and development for my team.
•Reporting stock control and system availability in line with the contract KPIs.
•Producing all procedures relating to both stock and systems control.
•Owning, reviewing, managing and updating the NDC Business Continuity Plan.
