- Responsible for performing a full range of human resource responsibilities and duties in conjunction with the COO and Branch managers.
- Ensure that the Human Resource Department is efficiently and effectively performing its duties and responsibilities in the organization, including: Recruitment and selection screening, Orientation processes, Personnel and File management, Grievance and complaint processes, Local and National standards and compliance.
- Supervise assistance in management of walk-in applicants.
- Receive and screen CVs or resume of applicants to be endorsed to Department Head when the need for a new staff arises.
- Help organize interview and testing schedule of applicants for screening and evaluation.
- Update job vacancies on company’s website as requested and coordinate advertisements for vacancies in local and international media as appropriate, and in conjunction with specs as supplied by HoDs, and Admin.
- Maintain close coordination with Accounting and PRO for new employees regarding Labour cards, visas, and healthcare insurance renewal
- Draft offer letters, as requested, and ensure submission of all needed personnel data files' requirements, including ID instructions, orientation dates and completion of required on-boarding forms.
- Turn-over newly hired employee to Department Head or Supervisor, once orientation process in HR completed - including IT registration.
- Provide administrative assistance in the organization and implementation of hospital-wide in-house and compulsory training for all Novomed Group’s new employees.
- Carry out primary source verification process for Novomed Group’s medical staff.
- Provide oversight in the organization of the updating and collecting of papers including- CV, job description, licenses, education, training, certificates, credentialing and PSV, leave forms, medical records (as appropriate), performance appraisal, etc. - for the personnel files required from employees.
- Remind Department Heads of staff undergoing performance appraisal.
- Perform various types of correspondence related to human resource management.
- Organize exit interviews and submission of required documents for a resigning employee.
- Ensure that the employees' database record, phone list and the intranet are updated.
- Ensure timely renewals of licenses and medical malpractice insurance of all licensed clinical staff.
- Assist in crafting job descriptions and in drafting policies where appropriate.
- Assist Novomed employees in answering their concerns and other human resource related queries where appropriate.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data, like absences, bonus and leaves.
- Ensure that Novomed employees' feedback for improvement is heard.
