Responsibilities:
• Technical advice and Support in the field of capacity development and reuse activities of the Sludge Management in Za’atari and Azraq Refugee Camps (SMZ(A)) project component.
• Coordinate and arrange steering and technical committee meeting with the Ministry of
• Water and Irrigation (MWI), Water Authority (WAJ), and other stakeholders (UNHCR, UNICEF, World Vision).
• Technical lead on the conceptualization and design of the wastewater and reuse awareness activities in Azraq Refugee Camp
• Review tender documents of the construction in Azraq Refugee camp from the agricultural and reuse point of view
• Technical lead on the selection of the required plantation for the reuse component.
• Support the financial monitoring and management of project activities, incl. preparing the fund lists, consulting, and contractor invoices to be approved.
• Technical support to the project manager in the implementation of the web-based Results-based-monitoring (RBM) system, incl. regulatory quantifying the indicators and milestones and updating the data in the online RBM system.
• Coordination of all the Public Relations and communication work of the project component with the communication’s focal points in both water and solid waste clusters.

Decentralized Wastewater Management for Adaptation to Climate Change in Jordan, funded by BMZ

Responsibilities:
• Technical support in the field of wastewater reuse
• Review of Consultant’s deliverable, incl. technical memoranda on wastewater collection, treatment and reuse and a related feasibility study
• Support the preparation and implementation of capacity development measures in Germany and Jordan
• Coordination of the inputs of Jordanian academic institutions for the conduction of capacity development activities, coordination with Al Balqa Applied University to conduct the training program
• Contribution to the implementation of a rapid rural appraisal including the survey preparation, following up the data collection and review the final deliverables
• Community engagement in the pilot project area, arrange the awareness activities to support the project implementation
• Organization of Technical Committee meetings and Steering Committee meetings, incl. preparation of protocols and official corresponds letters
• Support the financial monitoring of project activities, preparation of the monthly needed payments and funds for the project in coordination with the project team leader
• Active participation in the implementation of the GIZ project management tool Capacity WORKS, through project planning workshops
• Support the PR and communication work of the project, incl. preparation and updating of project website (http://www.dwm-acc-jordan.net/), project factsheet
• Filing and documentation including the DMS
• Support Sustainable Water Integrated Management Programme (SWIM) “ Network of demonstration activities for sustainable integrated wastewater treatment and reuse in the Mediterranean” the project funded by the EU and the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development, in implementing Public awareness activities Proposal for waste water reuse .
• Support technical implementation of SWIM pilot activities in Jordan.
• To support the preparation of technical, stakeholders and steering community meetings.
• Editing and managing project website content and communication, live chat room. (http://swim-sustain-water.eu/ ).
• All project logistics and administration deities including ( flights, hotel reservation, events management, traveling….etc)

• Technical support for WP III/SWIM -Sustain Water MED partners in Jordan.
• Support to Technical organization of partner technical and steering committee meetings of WP III/SWIM -Sustain Water MED.

• To assist the farmers group in defining their targets and ways to overcome problems of the community.
• To facilitate connections to local public and private organization which are able to support the water users associations in achieving their aims.
• Closely monitor all developments on the way to forming communities in written summaries of meeting, descriptions interviews with project partners.
• Assist supervisor or colleagues with their tasks in specific fields.
• Undertake routine field tours and monitoring visits to farms, WUAs and report findings supervisor.
• To participate in data collection on new potential work area on performance indicator as may be required.

Full Knowledge of standard milking procedures
