• Preparing the monthly Environmental & Sustainability Statistics Report and KPI Report.
• MME Permit applications for all project activities (crushers, dewatering, Micro-tunneling, fuel storage, batching and ready mix …etc).

ALYSJ JV is the assigned Contractor for the design and construction of the gold line metro project in Doha.

I'm the Environmental Coordinator for the Eastern sites of Doha Golden Metro Line Project, The roles and responsibilities are as follows:
a. Conducting daily and weekly inspection for all Eastern sites to insure their compliance with CEMP, relevant permits conditions and applicable MOE regulations and standards.
b. Preparing technical environmental reports (Dewatering Report, observation reports, NCR reports, incident and complaint reports…etc).
c. Conducting relevant training & induction programs, tool box talks …etc
d. Insuring that the proposed mitigation measures are implemented by site managers and relevant employees (senior site engineer, site engineer…etc).
e. Carrying out monitoring and measurements activities on regular basis (noise level monitoring, dust and particulate matters concentration, sampling and analysis of water effluent from dewatering system).
f. Supervising waste management in Eastern construction sites and insuring that all hazardous wastes are properly stored, segregated, labeled and disposed.
g. Insuring that all Environmental data, records, documents are maintained and updated in accordance with ISO 14001 EMS.
h. Attending weekly meetings with PMC (the consultant of the project) and sites managers to discuss the important environmental issues, and following up MOM recommendations.

d. Groundwater sampling, Analysis in an authorized lab every (6) months.
e. Supervising waste management and fly ash loading, transporting and final disposal which generated from Rabigh and Shoaiba Power Plants.

3. Monitoring of pollutants and assess the environmental situation for 5 power generation plants in Central region ( Riyadh PP5& PP10, Central Qassim, Hail 2 and Wadi Al-Dawaser ).
a. Evaluate the current environmental status of each power plant and determine compliance using relevant environmental regulations and standards.
b. Assess the Potential Environmental Impacts of each power plant when operating on full load.
c. Emission and Dispersion Study of Air Pollutants (NOx, S02, PM10, O3, CO).
d. Reviewing Solid & Liquid Waste, VOC’s and Fugitive Emissions Management Systems, providing recommendations for upgrading or for Best Management practices (BMP) to meet relevant environmental regulations and standards and ISO 14001.
e. Study and Analysis of Noise dispersion and Impact on Health and Safety of Power Plants Employees and on power plant Neighboring residents.
f. Study the pollution impact on soil (contamination) and determine compliance using relevant standards.
g. Assessing the existing pollution control systems for each pollution type and provide recommendations concerning new efficient control systems installation or for up-grading the existing ones.
h. Identification of the best available technologies to be applied in each power plant to reduce pollution impacts.
i. Develop an Environmental Management Plan for the mitigation of the potentially negative impacts.
