2- Assisted in teaching an undergraduate course (ENGR 100) on the fundamentals of photovoltaic science and engineering for “Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells” (DSSCs). \[Spring 2019 and Fall 2019\]
3- Presented an experimental demo for fabrication of DSSCs and how to estimate cell performance.
4- Supported and guided students in “Do-It-Yourself Experiments” on the fabrication of DSSCs.
5- Demonstrated the synthesis and characterization of 1D ZnO nanorods through a hydrothermal growth and Raman spectroscopy in a graduate course (ChE 494: Materials for Energy; twice).
6- Trained students on chemical vapor deposition (CVD) of graphene on copper foil, graphene transfer to PMMA and Raman characterization in a graduate course (ChE 494: Materials for Energy).
7- Designed an organic-inorganic solar cell (DSSC) from natural dyes for training students in a DIY & hands-on experiment session in a graduate course (ChE 494: Materials for Energy).

1- Operation Engineer in Jeddah Refinery Dept. “6 months”
*Became involved in resolving engineering-related problems and leakage issues occurred in the FCC zone to maintain continuous gasoline production.
*Updated the company refinery’s handbook section on Zone 4 (FCC unit) with an established FCC mass balance calculation meant to optimize catalyst weights and enhance the yield.
*Created a comprehensive review report familiarizing incoming engineers with the FCC working principle, optimal feedstocks, catalyst role, and conversions to gasoline.
*Participated in the total refinery shutdown (TRS) activities for the FCC unit; directed operators towards changing 5-year-old heat exchangers, separator drums, and reactor-catalyst regenerators.
*Initiated energy consumption-rate calculations on the total existing plant pumps with a pump optimization report guided management to reduce energy loss by 15%.

1- Became an official trainee in “Domestic Sales/Logistics Dept.” & “Gas/NGL Marketing Division”.
2- Critically reviewed/studied commercial-proven Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH) technologies \[CATOFIN and OLEFLEX\] to insightfully control NGL production/propylene distribution.
3- Created a comprehensive comparison report between fixed-bed and moving-bed reactors/licensors to maximize propane-to-propylene conversion >50% and produce >180 KTA polypropylene

1- Became an official trainee in the “Materials Supply Dept.” & “Quality Assurance Unit”.
2- Prepared chemicals clearance reports for smooth dispatch of chemicals to/from Dammam seaport.
3- Enforced the MSDS regulations to received chemicals for correct labeling and sorting, which helped inventories to follow the safety guidelines for proper chemicals handling, use, and storage.
