Main responsibilities:
•Manage the Logistics new team in Riyadh Area until it is ready for handover.
•Plan, Lead & directs the team in the full department cycle to ensure best service to our
customers especially Riyadh Metro Project.
•Manage all the department staff.
•Manage the procurement process of the department.
•Manage the company stock by ensuring timely deliveries, following up on the stocks for
pending orders with proper documentations.
•Provided support to a sister company for a period of 90 days in terms of operations &
customer satisfaction.

corporation Saks, Inc. It competes with high-end specialty stores in the United States of America
in addition to the Middle East region. Its first international location opened in Riyadh, Saudi
Arabia other locations now include the United Arab Emirates.
Main responsibilities:
•Manage SAKS Stock from origin to selling point along with all logistics related events.
•Plan, Lead & directs the team in the full work cycle to ensure that the company goals are
achieved with minimal cost & best efficiency.
•Monitor the work space utilization & maintain hygiene, healthy work place with maintaining all
the safety requirements.
•Manage the department staff though hiring, training, coaching them on the company policies
& procedures.
•Responsible for preparing the department yearly budget.
•Supervise the team for liaising with shipping lines, transporters, port, customs & municipality
authorities to ensure timely clearance of the shipments.
•Lead the operations-Logistics team and follow up multi task responsibilities.
•Develop & maintain good vendor & Logistics providers’ relationship.
•Responsible for purchasing all store supplies (shopping bags, suit bags, hangers, company gift
boxes…) with negotiating better offers with new suppliers.
•Responsible for the company's different projects: Bazar events, managing fully whole sale
projects through leading multi task teams, supervise the preparation & opening processes for
new Boutiques.
•Negotiate better facilitated credit terms for rates, services, credit terms… with different
forwarders.
•Provide the company with new & innovative solutions to cut the cost & maintain the same
level of standards & services in different fields: shipping, insurance, printable items, supplies…
•Supported & worked with Saks international director of operations on the Maximizor plan.
Prior to SAKS I worked for 2 years in Gulf Medical Company which is
specialized in the medical supplies sector as Riyadh warehouse &
distribution Manager.
Highlights of Achievements
 Built a logistics team in Riyadh Area. (ULMA)
 Conducted a study for business development in the logistics sector for entering new
technology to our business plus using new ideas to increase the efficiency, save time &
man power. (ULMA)
 Submitted a study focused on cutting cost for the logistics department saving 17% of
total expenses (SAKS).
 Saved 40% of the total warehouse expenses (SAKS).
 Developed SOP for all staff within the department (SAKS).
 Developed a tracking sheet that automatically updated the company on all existing
purchase orders plus a checklist to follow up on the job different aspects (SAKS).
 Submitted an accepted and implemented proposal to the higher management to
increase the warehouse headcount and to acquire an additional warehouse with new
equipment to improve the growing business services to customers (Gulf Medical).
