» Heading the Financial Planning and Analysis division of corporate office monitoring the investment objectives of the board and key financial performance of various businesses.
» Consolidation of financials for the 17 group companies as per IFRS on monthly basis.
» Preparation of the monthly MIS and analysis of the financial performance of various businesses and presenting the MIS to the Board highlighting the key variations.
» Setting up the business processes, internal controls and reporting structure for the emerging businesses.
» Monitoring the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics ERP across various businesses.

» Preparing key information for the Board of Directors review and participating in the strategic and key decision making.
» Undertaking review and analysis of all the divisions in all the areas of business to ensure the business is operating at the maximum efficiency and expectation of the management. Identify the problematic areas and taking corrective course of action.
» Close monitoring of working capital management ensuring optimum utilization of funds and maximizing ROI from each business.
» Engaging in design, analysis and review of various MIS reports for each company and consolidated reports to evaluate and drive the performance highlight inefficiencies, comparison with the budgets and reasons for variations.
» Supervising the finalization of the year end accounts and statutory audit.
» Heading and supervising the IT department across all the countries and ensuring implementation of appropriate technology to suits the business requirements.
Key Accomplishments
» Optimized Business Processes, Internal Controls, Accounting Policies and MIS Reporting Across all countries resulting in 30% (USD 120 million) reduction in working capital of the group and increased efficiencies and profitability in all business areas.
» Played a key role in the start-up and establishing the distribution business of consumer electronics in Africa with a capital involvement of USD 100 million and annual turnover of over USD 250 million.
» Successfully headed the implementation of the ERP Software “EPICOR” across various companies’ right from inception and designing of the solution to go live stage.
» Set up an internal BPO for the entire group in India with a team of 25 professionals which resulted in standardization and centralization of various business processes and substantial reduction of cost and human effort at the individual entities level.
» Played a key role in revamping the IT infrastructure across all offices which resulted into automation of several business processes and substantial savings in cost. For instance successfully implemented IP Telephony across all countries resulting in saving of USD 20, 000 per month.

» Played a key role in setting up corporate office in Dubai and implemented SOP, accounting policies and reporting across all the divisions.
» Designed and implemented the costing system to calculate the cost of the projects based on time sharing basis which made the project manager accountable for the project cost and substantially enhanced the profitability of the company.
