Able to ensure timely, Safe and cost-effective design and implementation during the life cycle of projects from conception till customer satisfaction. Currently looking for a suitable position as Resident Mechanical Engineer with a forward-thinking employer.

1. Site activities supervision and inspections as per approved material submittals and insure matching with project specifications.
2. Coordination with QAQC engineer to inspect the material and raise inspection request subject to the consultant approval.
3. Follow up with site team that material shifting to the accurate location at site as required installations.
4. Follow up with civil team for trenches preparation as per approved shop drawings.
5. Maintained the trenches measurement width depth as per pipe sizes and site conditions.
6. Trifle pit activities follow up along with surveyor to insure there is no obstruction with other existing underground utilities.
7. Trenches preparations and sand bedding as per project specification.
8. Coordination’s with site team for arrange proper tools and lifting machines as per pipe sizes and length loading offloading.
9. Supervision with technician team like wilders pipe fitters for the progress as per proper quality requirement.
10. Coordination with x-ray third party for testing activities for all types of welding joints and submit the test report for consultant approval.
11. Supervision for insulation activities all types of joint and jacket and other activities.
12. Follow up and monitoring for the pressure test activities for the pipe line as per project specification.
13. Coordination with the civil team for the back-filling activities layer by layer as per requirement.
14. Coordination and follow up with subcontractor for flushing for the pipe line and get test result from the authority laboratory subject to consultant approval.
15. Coordination with operation team for the district cooling plant for testing and commissioning activities.
16. Mechanical site engineers don’t have to create blueprints often, but they do have to interpret blueprints created by CAD software on a daily basis. They can conceptualize which tasks need to be done in which order to make the blueprint a reality.
17. Facilitate Construction and Installation of Machine Components While they don’t do much of the actual building themselves, mechanical site engineers are heavily involved in the construction and installation of machine components. This can mean creating machinery from scratch or installing a component as part of a repair.
18. Test Machine Components for Functionality Depending on one’s industry, there are specific tests for each kind of machinery. It is the responsibility of the mechanical site engineer to run these tests before signing off on completion. If something doesn’t perform as expected, he or she is responsible for diagnosing and fixing the problem.
19. Delegate Tasks to Various Project Employees Mechanical site engineers are part project manager; they delegate tasks to laborers and technicians, providing guidance as these workers complete their tasks.
20. Ensure Project is Completed on Time and Budget Project stakeholders hate when a project costs more time or money than was originally estimated. It is up to the mechanical site engineer to make sure all the mechanical aspects of the project are completed as efficiently as possible.
