1. Make sure the Logistics & In plant staff on site is aware of their roles and responsibilities, coach them on Export/Import laws and regulations.
2. Manage the storage area & excess Inventory to place the equipment/goods on the appropriate locations
3. Responsible for the scheduling of store resources to ensure daily operations regarding pick, pack and on time shipments are meet, to meet factory OTTR AOP.
4. Responsible for monitoring training and ongoing requirement to ensure factory personnel adhere to and comply with all regulatory and legal requirements for Dangerous goods handling and the requirements to comply with all Export/Import Compliance needs.
5. Liaise with Crating and Packing vendors to ensure the timely delivery of our crating and packing requirements to meet systems and project ship date.
6. Lead shipping team in the implementation of continues improvement process through use Kaizen, Gemba etc. activities to improve key metrics.
7. Work with ISC Leader in identifying the appropriate training required for new and existing Logistic & In-plant employees.
8. Provide Trade Master Data management support (HTS, Country of Origin) work close with other departments to set-up Trade maintenance procedure.
9. Manage the relation between all KSA entities, Global plants and Freight Forwarders related to Import/Export brokerage.
10. Assist Logistics/In-plant team in identifying the special import requirements for non-Saudi destination.
11. Interface with internal customers when necessary for problem solving, issues or question related with delivery execution.
12. Monitoring schedules for shipping and delivery of materials.
13. Communication with customs agent and customers to schedule inbound/outbound deliveries.
14. Arranging transport incoming and outgoing transactions, participation in inventories return material to suppliers (RMA) process logistics compliant.
15. Review routes and carrier shipping conditions as applicable.
16. Logistics claim to suppliers and shipping agents and follow up with necessary shipping documents from supplier.
17. Supervise material handling with supplier/customer, material receipt and dispatch process.
18. Booking and picking up the goods, prepare the relevant documents for equipment/goods.
19. Ensure all inventory transactions are carried out in ERP system.
20. Perform a wide variety of logistics duties which include receiving, unloading, counting, expediting, stoking, packing, shipping, filling, calculating, inspecting and various administrative and data management function support.
21. Support Customs Clearance of the goods to assure the business is aware of the documents needed.
22. Support the business to understand the specific export/import license requirement.
23. Proactivity works together with Global Trade resources, prepare and manage the submission to licensing and Trade authorities.
24. Accurate management of all the Export/Import, packing lists, Delivery notes, invoices, Import & Export Declarations, Certificate of Origin if available.
25. Assure the accuracy of the declared partners as per the commercial invoice - runs screening with tools Amber Road and Visual Compliance and monitors the screening results in accordance with HON Global Policy 2033 on Trade Compliance and PMT Global Guidelines and Procedures.
26. Applies for rulings (Binding Tariff Information - BTI’s) and assure the accuracy of the valid commodity code used by exportation out of Saudi Arabia.
27. Maintains the commodity codes, the country of origin and preference situation on the material master data on SAP.
28. Arrange for SASO or Origin Certificates and applies for Saudi regulations when needed.
29. Gent in touch with suppliers and vendors to resolve issues.
30. HSE Compliance for all Logistics, Inward/Outward area operation.
31. Support UOP for Import/Export Compliance for all ME countries.
32. Arrange required permits based on KSA regulation.
