Responsibilities:
•Verification of lab equipment and measurement tools before the tests.
•Inspection of Raw Materials and Review of Materials Test Certificates (MTC).
•Performing sampling of incoming raw materials for release testing.
•Preparing and implementing the inspection and testing control sheet to select the samples for the production process as per the ITP.
•Conducting the sample preparation and performing the required dimensions.
•Performing all the mechanical testing such as (Tensile test, hardness test, Impact test, Metallographic (Macro/Micro), HIC & SSC Examination, chemical analysis.
•Testing Hydrogen Induced Cracking (HIC), For Sour Service.
•Sulfide Stress Cracking (SSC), For Sour Service.
•DSC analysis Coating machine. And UTM machine TINIUS OLSEN coating.
•Following standard operating procedures and standards test methods when performing assigned test.
•Analysis the test results and complies with the required specifications and standards.
•Submitting the accurately document and test results to QA/QC department.
•Preparing samples and documentation for submission to external test laboratories.
•Performing maintenance and calibration of lab equipment and tool as needed.
Responsibilities:
Coordinating the daily welding activity of fabrication, pipe spools and erection of structural at the
fabrication shop and as well as in the fields.
Preparing the routine work for each welder and issuing the required welding consumables.
Checked Welding essential parameters such as Voltage, Amperage, Travel Speed, Gas flow rate and
gas mixture ratio were checked and verified with approved WPS
Verifying the calibration of welding machine and in the good condition.
Ensure the welders are used and following the correct WPS.
Carrying out the welding inspection before, during and after welding operation as per approved test
plan, relevant engineering drawing, international standard and project specification.
Performing the Welding Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) as per international standards and
additional requirement of client.
Witness Welder Qualification tests in association with the client.
Performing the Welding Procedure Qualification Record and the Rejection rate.
Managing all the Welding repairs that failed in the NDT.
Control and record the use of all consumables, checking condition, certification and batch numbers
and ensuring weld specifications are met. Ensure proper storage and handling of all welding
consumables.
Prepares various reports such as daily welding production reports, Non conformity Reports
