Held responsibility for the overall review of contracts and risk exposure during tendering and proposal issuing. Chairing contracts meetings and negotiating provisions, overall consolidation of contracts, processing review departures and carve-outs, and improving the contract review process. Responsible for overall contractual, claims, and variations issues during contract executions & closeouts.
• Contribute to contract reviews per the rules of engagement and in consultation with Legal and other SMEs, propose a commercial strategy for winning contractual set-up

• Perform a contract handover to the execution team, ensuring their understanding of critical contractual aspects. Administer the project execution against contractual rights and obligations
• Ensure that contractual supply obligations are performed, adequately documented, and closely followed up
• Support project manager on risk and opportunity identification and management
• Identify, prepare, submit, and negotiate variation orders and claims with both customer and subcontractors in a timely and effective manner, involve Legal as and when required
• Draft contractual correspondences in consultation with Legal as required
• Participate in project reviews, propose and support mitigation actions as required
• filing the contract and contract-related documents, preparing and negotiating applications for payment and invoicing, implementing and following up on financial means of payment such as a letter of credits, bank guarantees, and credit insurance
• assisting the project manager in the cost and value reconciliation of the project with a particular focus on variation/claim forecasting
