•Responsible for handling daily deals in Laptops, IT and Gadgets Categories for UAE.
•Souring the merchant with the wide range of product lineup
•Negotiating & signing the daily deals for the lowest price possible
•Understanding Consumer behavior and designing deals accordingly (low priced/ high priced deals)
•Creating & Implement marketing plan for Laptops, IT and Gadgets Categories to promote them online & generate the web traffic
•Helped the IT team in designing & implementing Salesforce for Laptops, IT and Gadgets Categories.
•Closely working with Various department for smooth flow of business such as; problem solving for customer issues, Payment issues, production team & Marketing team
•Aims to achieve the targets set for Laptops, IT and Gadgets Categories.
•Manage key categories and ensure the annual sales value/ volume/gross margin targets are met.
•Finalize trading agreements with vendors and ensure agreed margin is realized.
•Continuously monitor and analyze ageing stocks and implement effective remedial action wherever required.
•Maintain optimum inventory levels in the stores for all SKUs. Generating purchase orders as and when inventory levels reach minimum reorder levels.
•Corrective actions against slow moving stock and liquidating or returning ageing stock consistently
•Negotiate with vendors for annual promotions - DSF, DSS, GITEX and secure exclusive offers.
•Continuously drive in competitive promotional deals in comparison to other competitors in the market.
•Carry out regular online store visits to ensure display / availability compliance at Website level.
•Supervise and re-order for replenishment of stocks.
•Maintain system catalogue with new product listing, selecting Brands & maintaining competitive pricing.
• Process all purchase orders, including coding and managing all information through excel order
sheet (Order tracker, Buyer Tracker, Order confirmation, Packing lists, Payments)
• Liaise with suppliers and buyers, acting as intermediary to expedite deliveries and resolve any
issues relating to delivery.
• Communicate with the warehouse on all issues relating to delivery, monitoring the number of
deliveries received/managed within delivery window.
• Maintain awareness of department OTB and status and value of each brand/category as well as
assist in orders and replenishment as applicable.
• Liaise with merchandising counterparts to understand and analyze reports and maintain
awareness of progress against budgets and plans articulated by the Merchandising team to ensure
orders are consistent.
• Solicit written and telephone quotations from supplier and assist in tabulating bids.
• Ensure all products are accurately categorized and described on the website and have all the
details required.
• Responsible for the input of accurate cost and selling prices.
• Ensure all data entry is completed in line with the buying critical path.
• Constantly support customer service team in order to guarantee customer satisfaction.
