• Perform accounting functions as assigned by Senior Finance Manager / Project Manager
• Prepare & analyze the P & L accounts monthly, also preparation of cash flow statement.
• Prepare balance sheet account reconcilements.
• Report to the Project Manager on the cost control of the General Conditions as well as overall project costs as they relate to budgeted amounts and their impact on project profitability.
• Monthly review of job cost activity ensuring consistent and proper coding.
• Handle and process all aspects of construction payables, including coding, processing contract award work sheets and maintenance of the job cost chart of accounts.
• Prepare final invoice package containing draft and final invoices for all billable projects, including all applicable backup for approval by the Department head.
• Work with the cash receipts team member to reconcile variances that occur in the application of cash.
• Generate and distribute bi-monthly receivables reports and monthly profitability reports.
• Review weekly time sheets, along with the accounting group.
• Research any unbilled issues to optimize the billing possibilities for the billing period.
• Maintain the billing folders for all project, with all the appropriate documents, including expenses, consultant invoices, and monthly invoices, in accordance with standard procedures.
• Provide the accounts payables team member with advice on client billing, relative to consultant invoicing and reimbursable expenses.
• Coordinate and resolve various issues with bank such as cleared check differences, bank fee differences, targeted balance calculations and enhancements to online services.
• Conform with and abide by all regulatory guidance and internal policies & procedures.
• Document policies, QMS procedures and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility
• Provide year-end support of auditor requirements, which may include research and reconcile.
• Perform additional assignments, as directed by the Project Manager and Department Head.
