Plan, develop, and monitor the Quality Control Section activities including providing technical support and advise on QA/QC and best practices on Industry matters associated with design and inspection of new Construction to support the department and the division in ensuring safe and reliable operations.
Leading Failure investigations, root cause analysis and technical recommendations to department manager to improve integrity and reliability of Construction works at all stages.
Develop and review of Quality procedures required for improvements inspection and methods for reducing down time.
Plan, direct, supervise, review effective implementation of the QA/QC System in Company's Construction works which are designed to improve Health, Safety & Environment, Operability, process efficiency and production increase in accordance with the latest international and company standards & codes of practice.
Ensure that company QA/QC requirements are fulfilled and demonstrated during the entire Construction works and regular routine activities.
Ensure Quality Control during Planning and Implementing, Turnaround execution through all stages from Concept Design/Engineering, Production of Tender for Construction, and Procurement of services/materials till commissioning.
Assist the Manager Planning, Scheduling and Turnaround in developing scope of work for Third Party Inspection Contractual Agreement and monitor the effectiveness of Contractors’ performance.
Identify and recommend action plans in solving operation and process problems to resolve and prevent quality issues.
Review, verify and endorse company Turnaround Project Quality Plan and QA procedures and standardize required Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) /QA/QC Inspection checklist for improving QA/QC System.
Review and endorse submission of the Contractors and sub-contractor’s Project Quality Program and verify its implementation in relation to their supplied products and services. Submit recommendations on supplier’s performance and capabilities with regard to QA/QC.
Carryout Quality Audits and Site/Shop surveys of Manufacturers, Contractors/Consultants and Suppliers as required.
Monitor and verify all non-conformities raised and assist Management Team in taking effective corrective actions for their closure.
Ensure that all inspection requirements have been fulfilled satisfactorily according to final approved drawings/documents and supplier quality plan.
Manage and supervise all TPI, Contractors QA/ QC Engineers and QC inspectors during Construction works of all stages.
Safeguard own Health and Safety, as well as that of the fellow employees, by paying attention to safe work practices, maintaining a safe work environment and complying with applicable HSE requirements.
Take action to INTERVENE and STOP any un-safe activity or non-compliance with HSE requirements, if witnessed, and report the incident - regardless of your position or that of the transgressor.
Providing day-to-day direction for inspection of new facilities in line with engineering & Saudi Aramco standards
Conducting inspection of:
Installation & inspection of Pressure vessels, Heat exchangers, Skids, Pumps, Colum’s and Drums.
Joints preparation by verifying the joint dimension, fit-up, weld joint cleanliness, quality of individual process, placement and sequence of individual weld passes, interpass cleaning (there is no bimetallic contamination), interpass temperature and time intervals in weld cycle.
Welding electrodes baking and issuance/return record.
Pipe spool internal cleaning (air blowing) prior installation
Pipe laying inspection at pipe rack and sleeper way
Drafting inspection reports, pre and post testing and inspection (T&I) reports, worksheets and non-compliance reports and follow-up, Analyze and closing worksheets and non-compliance reports.
Preparation of (LBE) log book entries of finding during surveillance on-site inspection.
Inspect each job site for unsafe conditions that could cause injury, death or financial loss to the company or property.
Valve installation

Analyzing piping test packages prior to pneumatic / hydro testing
Assisting sub-contractor QC Inspector in inspections and review of piping & closing of NCR
Generating inspection reports, worksheets, non-compliance reports, log book entries and onsite inspection findings
Managing:
Installation & inspection of lift station for oily water, sanitary water and storm water sewer systems
Calibration of equipment based on the method of statement & vendor's recommendation
Creating punch list through MCC walkthrough for plumbing, fire-fighting equipment and components installation
Implementing project, coordinating CP installation & commissioning activities for CDS / CHCD systems
Upgrading existing CP system and performing:
Interference test with foreign pipelines at crossing locations
Inspection (RFI) as per the latest approved (ITP)
Bolt tightening activities to produce necessary documentation
Inspection for shaft Alignment (1st, 2nd and Hot Alignment) with minimum allowable Tolerance
Inspection of platforms, handrails, ladders, overhead traveling crane as per approved drawing and standards
Heading pre-commissioning activities of rotating equipment, procedures reviews for water flushing, chemical cleaning, de-greasing, air blowing, oil flushing, motor solo run, mechanical run and operational tests
Dealing with technical bids evaluation, detail and field engineering / modifications / response to site technical queries, review of data sheets, IOMs, Fat reports, GAD / cross sectional drawings, P&IDs, analysis data, modification schemes & mechanical seals
Supervising installation & commissioning of:
Reverse osmosis plant (SO SAFE, AQUA FINA)
Electric water heater made by super Asia,
Multi stage booster pumps for raw water and drinking water system
Caterpillar gas engine, heavy duty niigata furnace / diesel oil engine, gas turbine (turbo mach) including waste heat recovery boiler, boiler feed pumps and inline gear pump
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Responsible for the thorough and accurate calculation of pressure testing of various type of piping material used in UG and AG metallic an nonmetallic used in industry.
Coordinating execution, hydro testing with planning and QA/QC activities. Monitoring hydro test package preparation.
Responsible for reinstatement of hydro tested piping and monitoring, coordinating and follow up the site and sign off the packages to hand over to the pre-commissioning team for target setting, progress and task analysis of test packages to make ready for testing.
To achieve the target, coordinate test packages flow by monitoring and coordinate the verification and transmittals of test packages to respective departments such as Engineering, QA/QC, and Construction for punch attending, to release the package for line testing.
Responsible for overseeing test booth operation including extensive training of employees in proper equipment inspection, maintenance, record of test and hydro testing procedure per company policy.
Performs leads or otherwise participates in the coordination of Construction work for onshore projects done by contractors to ensure conformance to the company’s specifications and standards.
Ensures implementation of the company project procedures for the safe and efficient execution of construction projects.
Coordinates with contractors’ onsite the recording, tracking of hydro testing.
Evaluates and develops solutions to problems on site, which arise in the execution of projects.
