Monitoring Sale Gas composition and keeping it under the specifications as
required by the client.
Controlling the plant parameters to stabilize the condensate and reduce its
RVP to a specified level of safe handling.
Supervising the production of LPG as per the quality standards specified by
the client.
Investigating and Troubleshooting Plant/Process Problems.
Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control at Plant Site.
Development of Risk Register and minimizing risk using the hierarchy of Risk
Control i.e. Elimination, Substitution, Engineering Control, Administrative
Control and Personal Protective Equipment.
Log book Writing and Production Loss Calculations.
Preparing Daily Morning Report (DMR) of Plant.
Issuing Work permit to different sections of the plant and to have the job
completed in a safe manner.
Assessing Safety and Environmental Issues at Plant
* Ethylene Dichloride (EDC) production plant of 690 ton/d capacity using Low temperature
Chlorination (LTC) Reactor and Oxyhydrochlorination Reactor for EDC regeneration.
* Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM) production plant of 610 ton/d capacity using EDC cracking furnace.
Responsibilities
To maintain efficient plant operation by keeping the critical parameters monitored
and under normal ranges on a daily basis.
To develop and issue process monitoring report based on raw material & utilities
consumption, product quality and reactor efficiencies.
To follow training plan and ensure its compliance under the supervision of
mentor.
To inspect conditions of plant equipment during turnaround and give way forward
to maintenance.
To develop process specs for new modifications being done to the plant in order
to improve production, product quality and plant reliability.
To perform incident investigations and determine the root cause by developing a
fault tree analysis.
To conduct weekly safety talk and give suggestions regarding safety hazards at
the plant site.
To conduct housekeeping audit of the plant and ensure hazard free environment
for personnel on site.
