• Applying extensive familiarity with International Standards like NFPA, IPC, and ASHRAE
• Establishing effective liaison with Qatar Civil Defense and Local Authorities during project stages
• Aligning projects with sustainability goals by reviewing Owners Project requirements and Basis of Design
• Leading teams of engineers and inspectors during On/Off site inspections for HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Fighting services
• Supervising and witnessing various mechanical services installations, ensuring industry standards adherence
• Monitoring, controlling, and seamlessly coordinating mechanical installations with other services
• Applying deep knowledge of Quality Management Standards like ISO for robust quality control
• Preparing and reviewing Method Statements for the installation, start-up, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems
• Functioning as an in-house Quality Management Auditor to uphold rigorous standards
• Verifying installations align with approved procedures, ensuring compliance with international codes and standards
• Diligently monitoring and directing testing procedures in line with manufacturer recommendations
• Verifying and witnessing the Start-up, Testing & Commissioning of HVAC & Domestic water system and maintaining documents and relevant sign-offs.
• Preparing and reviewing Project Close-Out Documentations, including verifications of List of Spares, Warranty Certifications, and Warranty periods
• Ensuring comprehensive documentation through the preparation and review of Operation, Maintenance, and Training Manuals
• Empowering client’s operators and facility management teams through effective training and familiarization, ensuring operational success
Sustainability
• Implementing ESC control Plans, Construction waste management, and IAQ plans on-site
• Scrutinizing Material Submittal for VOC Content, Regional, Recycle credits
• Thoroughly evaluating Certified wood documents submitted by contractors
• Collaborating with the Design Team to address sustainability-related clarifications
• Optimizing energy efficiency by reviewing energy modeling reports from designers
a. Lead team of engineers and inspectors during On/Off site inspections - HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage and Fire Fighting services (Mechanical Services).
b. Review of material submittals, shop floor drawings, coordination drawings.
c. Supervise & Witness the various mechanical services installations.
d. Familiarity to SMACNA & DW (Duct Work) standards.
e. Monitor, control & ensure the installations such that they are coordinated with other services.
Looking after Shop drawings of Paper plant, Design of Support, Take off Quantity.
