Assist IT management in ensuring that HAAD’s IT strategy is derived from its business strategy.
Work with other government entities and business partners and suppliers on identifying, analysing, optimizing, and modeling of G2G (federal and local) and G2B scenarios/services.
Lead efforts to establish Business Service Catalogue, and then take full ownership of maintaining this catalogue.
Establish a stable & optimized Business Architecture that's part of HAAD’s Enterprise Architecture.
Lead efforts to achieve the ADSIC IT Architecture & Standards Business Layer objectives.
Research and propose IT solutions that would help HAAD achieve its goals more effectively and efficiently (especially for un-automated areas).

Establish a Business Process Improvement Process by adopting an industry standard methodology such as Business Process Management.
Establish and manage a standard Software Development Process.
Lead requirements gathering & analysis of business applications, and ensure that these requirements are fully & accurately met in the produced application.
Establish Business Process Modeling by using an industry standard notation language such as UML (for automated services) and BPMN (for non-automated services).
Ensure that business processes and business information of all applications fit with one another cohesively (i.e. business process and business information silos should be avoided.
Ensure that business always drives technology in each and every application (this can be accomplished by making sure that business requirements are fully understood, well-thought-out, and optimized before the technical part \[development, infrastructure, etc.\] begins).
Institutionalize the business analysis discipline by developing the analysis and quality assurance process that will ensure high quality of the produced application.
Develop & review Request for Proposals (RFP), Business requirement document and detailed functional specification documents to document Business Processes & business requirements.
Document AS-IS processes, and using business process engineering principles, analyzed and recommend improvements to create the TO-BE processes.
Perform Project start-up tasks: produce Project Plan, assign resources, and establish implementation methodology.
Prepare business cases, feasibility study reports, project prioritization, business requirement specifications (BRS) and other project related deliverables.
Provide Systems Analysis and design expertise on IT projects and enhancement efforts for IT applications.
Facilitate in evaluating the technical proposals from different bidders of several projects.
Involve in writing & reviewing the Request for Proposals & also involve in the Procurement process of new systems.
