Assembled and initiated the video monitored perfusion system to measure responses in cannulated and pressurized arteries.
Undertook extensive animal handling techniques at St Joseph`s Hospital and McMaster University Medical Centre, the two major hospitals in Hamilton, Ontario. This included administering anesthesia, drug administration, survival surgery, harvesting organs/arteries and collection of blood/body fluids.
Trained and guided graduate students and technicians in molecular biology techniques like Western Blotting and RT-PCR.
