Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead Site Electrical Engineer -The CHEDI KATARA LUXURY BOUTIQUE HOTEL & CHALETS

• To review Scope of work, Technical submittal, Drawings and Specifications
• Preparation, submission and obtaining approval from consultant for shop drawing and material proposals submittal
• Material Takeoff as per site requirement and approved material submittals and providing Technical assistance for the Procurement of materials
• Plan the execution of all electrical related work and coordinate the work with mechanical and civil groups as per sequence of Method statement
• Ensure the installation work carried out is as per approved shop drawing and within the time frame and progress of the approved construction program
• Drawing guide lines and plans for the site engineers for their day to day activities
• Liaison with the consultant for resolving technical issues arising in material submittal, Shop drawings and site issues
• Coordinating all activities relating to the project from construction stage to completion
• Responsible for checking the Single Line Diagram, DB Load Schedule, Cable Selection and the voltage drop cables
• Review of shop drawings and detailed layout drawings prepared by the draftsman with reference to the latest Tender/ IFC drawings, Specifications and Guiding draught men to prepare shop Drawings based on Kahramaa/QCDD Regulations and after incorporating all the comments submit to the consultant to get the approval
• Solving problems in layouts due to discrepancies of services with architectural, structural, reflected ceiling layouts and making proposals
• Coordinate with the other Mechanical Systems for the Desired Electrical Loads of machines (Pumps, Chillers, AHU, and Package Units etc) and checking the design of the required MCC s
• Well experience in Operation and Maintenance of Electrical System (LV & ELV), MV Panel, MCC Panel, SMDB, DB, Feeder Pillar for Outdoor Lighting, Street Lighting, Landscape Lighting, High Mast Lighting, Sports Lighting, Well-Known of Fire Alarm System, FM200 System, Building Management System, CCTV & IPTV System, UPS System, Access Control and Public Address System
• Experience in invite quotation, evaluation and negotiation on commercial activities
• Identification of project variations, claims, acceptance & execution.
• Preparation of monthly invoices as per project work progress at site based on BOQ
• Raising RFI to the Consultants for the Technical Clarifications
• Preparation of As-built drawings and Operational & Maintenance manuals
• Responsible to undertake site inspections and liaison with QA/QC
• Preparation of Commissioning and Site Acceptance Test Procedures, knowledge in pre-commissioning and startup of electrical installation
