• Create/Review High Level and Low Level design, SAT, FAT, Performance Testing, Monitoring, Diagnosis and Troubleshooting OETC telecom network consist of SDH Multiplexers, MPLS-TP switches, Firewalls, Ethernet switches, Optical Amplifiers, Servers and Operating Systems, Analyzers, PBX, VoIP Gateway, Telephone, Fiber Optics, Network Management System, GPON ONT and SNMP tools.
• MPLS-TP: VPLS, VPWS, E-Tree, E-LAN, E-Line, Hub-Spoke, VLAN Translation, Tunnels, services, VRRP, Quality of Service, Traffic Engineering.

Plan and conduct Technical Quality Audit (QA) for performance tracking of GPON implementation project (Installation, Provisioning and Acceptance testing) team, document and distribute audit dashboard to the top management in a weekly manner.
Provisioning of service and Acceptance Testing after Installation of Etisalat triple play services (High speed Internet, Telecom and IPTV) on GPON networks and legacy networks (DSLAM, PSTN), WiMax, Fixed LTE.
In order to segregate the H.S.I, IP TV and VoIP traffic configure VLANs on Ethernet ports (LAN Side: as Access and trunk ports) of ONT, and towards OLT (WAN) side as well. Configure the wireless router and firewall settings for the customers. Testing of services on GPON ONT i.e Transmit and Receive Power using optical power meter and NMS client, High speed Internet Throughput test, optimum bandwidth and coverage of wireless routers using tester Net scout’s Wifi Advisors.
Verification and validation of Value added services and packages of Voice (Telephone) and IPTV Vendors
Technology: GPON/FTTH, ADSL/DSLAM, Fixed LTE VoIP Vendor: Alcatel/Nokia, Huawei, Zohne)
support for Networking and Telecommunication technologies like Switches, MPLS-TP, Ethernet Ring Protection, SDH/DWDM etc for ISP like (Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, Tata etc).
•In order to manage NEs in NMS/EMS verify and add missing routes in CISCO Routers and Solaris server (UNIX) .
•Provisioning and Troubleshooting of RSTP, QoS, RSTP, VLAN (q in q ) L2 switch.
End to end throughput link testing (L2) for Enterprises leased line by pumping traffic from Ethernet tester, involved in testing of VRRP redundancy.
•Remote Technical support using NMS Client (Graphical User interface) and command line interface at the time of alarms-errors reports at card/equipment level or service (SDH Trail, Cross-connects etc) level on live networks also support on issues during new service provisioning.
•Handle escalation of Critical traffic affecting issues receives from network operators. Using various test methods to identify problematic elements in the network and provide corrective action plan with proper RCA supported with logs and snapshots.
•Troubleshooting on issues at NMS/EMS application level installed on Unix based (Sun Solaries ) or windows based server.
•Install and execute scripts to health check of equipments for preventive maintenance of entire network.
Customer: Ciena Networks
Location: Dheerubhai Ambani Knowledge City, Mumbai.
Responsibilities:
•Manual Testing of Ciena-Nortel’s Telecom Products.
•Establishing SDH and DWDM Networks set-up for testing in client’s (Reliance infocom) lab.
•Manual and Regressiontesting of new software and hardware releases, in the presence of Client’s observer.
•Explaining reason of failure of test mentioned in client’s test cases list and report to concerning team if problem like bugs etc found during testing.
•Testing of new CIENA’s S/W releases like CPL Rel 4.01, OM5200 (CWDM), EMS OMEA release 9.0 and H/W like 20G cards etc.
