The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) is a billion dollar development that will display some of the world’s most recognisable collections, including for the first time, the complete contents of the tomb of Tutankhamun; over 5, 000 funerary artifacts of unimaginable archaeological and aesthetic value.

Responsibilities/Tasks:
This was one of the leading roles in the creation of the new museum, responsible for the development of the inaugural permanent exhibitions and public offer, ensuring exemplary standards and practices were developed for on-going delivery of exceptional visitor experiences.
Assisted in the implementation of the creative strategy and overall design of the Museum's graphic identity and visual communications. Monitored external use of the brand, including prompt action resolution of brand violations.
Planning of project schedules and managing workflow across departments and external subcontractors. Overseeing and evaluating final artwork and production to ensure quality.

Key achievements:
- Scoped projects and prepared design briefs for the Museum’s public offer including GEM’s permanent and temporary galleries, museum branding, exhibition graphics, signage and wayfinding
- Creation of tender documentation for exhibition development programs with a value of US $120m
- Managed a diverse international team of museum experts and mentored local Museum employees in best practices for the world’s most valuable archaeological collections
