• Supervise & Control of company documents (approx. 60, 000 boxes) through SLA (Service Level Agreement) with one of the largest service provider in Middle east. The scope of work includes regulatory inquiries, electronic filing, retrieval, restoration, deletion, and continuity of business.
• Provide operational support and training to facilitate the ongoing departmental needs for business continuity planning in relations to document and records management.
• Plan, organize, direct, review, coordinate and control all departments with the application of established retention schedules; formulated records management policies and standard operating procedures as per RIM policy.
• Create records management training material, implement strategy and programs for staff training and development.
• Manage and monitor budget and reformatting costs for the best business practices.
• Hire and supervise the work of a full-time Archives Assistant.
• Direct quality assurance audits on all document files and the library on a regular basis.
• Recommend with the RIM; participate in a building expansion planning process.
• Provide reference services to internal and external audiences by access, interpreting finding aids, giving instruction on the proper handling of materials and providing knowledge of the records relevant to the individual user's needs.
• Integrate and manage document destruction program throughout the company.
• Schedule for Safety Induction training to the subcontractor's on time.
• Performed inventories of active and inactive record storage areas and coordinated scheduling of records disposition; recommended active and inactive records storage periods, in coordination with the Manager & Unit.
• Processed records according to archival principles and standards, i.e., Records and Information Management (RIM), and created finding aids and indexes for internal and external use.
• Preserved records by identifying endangered materials and level of conservation work needed; provided basic repair and preventive preservation for paper records.
• Maintained archival collections management information, including up-to-date shelf list inventory and transfer records.
• Maintained database, utilizing data for production of electronic finding aids.
• Researched, planned, developed and implemented long and short-range goals for the archives and records center, in coordination with the Senior Admin.
