Reported to the project manger in matters of claims, and financial nature, and reported to the construction manager in subcontract, and supplier’s problems; and technical / engineering affairs.

Scope of work:

 Coordinate the works of all client’s nominated subcontractors and DUMEZ major sub-contractors, and suppliers, to insure timely completion of the subcontract’s works.
 Review and approve subcontractors’ progress payments.
 Manage the quality control program, in the workshops of subcontractors.

It is a Joint Venture between Almabani, and Thomson CSF (TV equipment manufacturer-France). The JV had the contract with the Ministry of Information for all TV Production Centers and Transmitting Stations of Saudi Arabia, In charge for the management of all site works. Reported to the Projects Manager, based in Riyadh.

Buraydah TV Production Center; Site Manager:

Scope of work:

 Manage; Almabani own work force, and the subcontractor’s works.
 Direct an identical project; Medinah TV production center, conduct weekly coordination visits.
 Manage on-site subcontracting and purchasing; manage insurance and contract claims.
 Prepare method statements and field sketches, including subcontractor’s works.
 Approve progress billing of the subcontractors and prepare billing to the client (MOI).
 Coordinate the works with Thomson-CSF, and the consultant ADETE (France).
Scope of work at other projects:
 Selected by the Ministry of PW, as a committee member, to investigate structural damages of the Ministry of PTT building (contracted by Almabani). The committee conducted destructive and non-destructive tests and found defects and proposed repair solutions to the structural damages.
 Worked on the wrap-up of civil works of Air Conditioning systems replacement, at (4) Royal Palaces.
