 Implement acceptance tests for new and upgraded firmware of various brands of Tetra Radios.
 Provide technical assistance to corporate sales department on Radio services (Tetra)
 Implement Fleetmapping customization and terminal programming of various Tetra radios (e.g. Motorola, Hytera, Sepura, Teltronic, Selex)
 Assists corporate sales for the procurement of Tetra customer products e.g. Mobile terminals.
 Prepare monthly customer data reports to be presented to Billing and OMC.

Summary of Duties & Responsibilities:
• Undertakes site surveys, Installation Supervision, Test and Commissioning of systems/solutions including PAGA systems, TETRA radio terminals, PABX’s, Industrial Wireless Products, Structured Cabling, Intercom Systems for Oil/Gas & other industry like Qatar Gas, Rasgas, Qatar Petroleum, Woqod and Qatar Steel.
• Preparation and updating all technical project documents etc.
• Programming of TETRA Radios (SELEX, HYTERA, TELTRONIC) as per customer requirement
• Prepares and submit bids and proposals by evaluating Tenders, specifications, scope of work, and assists in Project activities - liaises with Principals and/or International Manufacturer’s/Suppliers.
• Co-ordinate with our vendor & freight forwarder for our shipments.
• Undertakes pre/post sales activities of the division starting from lead generation to successful closure of the deals with activities including presentations, customer training, product demonstration and product features/facilities.
• Evaluates RFQ’s and responds with offers.
• Works towards targets with a focused, proactive and organized approach.

• RFI re-survey for sites - checking of sites before installation as per the Customer requirements.
• Supervision of complete site installation from the ASP teams.
• Acceptance Test in all types of Ericsson BTS.
• Configuration of external Alarms of outdoor & indoor sites.
• Performing L2 audits and completion of site installation documentation as per Ericsson quality
Standards.
• Supporting ASP in clearing the punch points of sites & then done AT, Quality supervision of new sites.
• Done Ericsson BTS Installation, Commissioning & Integration \[RBS 2206, 2216V2(Indoor) 2106, 2106i 2116V2 (Outdoor)\]
• Done Swapping & Expansion of Ericsson BTS 2206, 2106 & 2106i with BTS 2216V2 & 2116V2.
• Synchronization of BTS through OVP (if needed).
• Cascading of E1 through OVP (if needed).
• E1 Patching and Loading of site by BSC end.
• Trouble shooting of BTS & Swapping of hardware, during fault.
• Creation of IDB according to configuration.
• Detects faults, priorities and takes immediate corrective actions according to the fault management procedure.

Key Activities:
• Cross Audit of cell sites.
• To prepare project quality check list, Audit records & reports and distribute to project office.
• Material verification, bill of material.
• To report the deviations from the Ericsson requirements and circumstances that may interfere the site function.
• To carry out the installation audits/inspection for the switch site and BTS site, telecom node as per standards and checklists.
• Measuring the VSWR through the site analyzer for distant fault testing.
• Coordinating with various sub vendors for the site work completion and their billing.
• All alarm integration and their testing from BSC & NOC.
• Monthly meeting with customer over improvement plan and repeated deficiencies.
• Recommend network improvement plan and its implementation.
• To carry out site infrastructure audit like for Tower, DG, Earthen, Electrical installation, Shelter etc for BTS site and earthen installation, Equipment room etc for switch site.
• To impart training to the installation team on standard installation practice.
• Coordinating with the field technician and Engineer to resolve any network degrading faults generated at BSC, BTS Sites.

Key Activities:
• Exposure to RF survey, transmission, LOS survey.
• In telecommunication specializing in GSM, RF Planning & design.
• Planning of new coverage & capacity sites with clutter analysis.
• Site selection for radio network design, which includes for new towns, market, filling & capacity sites.
• Auditing of new sites and verifying the hardware, tilt, antenna height and orientation according to the planning database.
