Managed wet utility design for Package 21-about 17 kilometres of roads infrastructure in old Doha, Qatar. Wet services included storm sewer networks, foul sewer networks, pumping stations and TSE (treated sewage effluent) networks. Managed report preparation for above mentioned utilities and the production of about 250 drawings for the civil wet utilities. Projected Construction Value about 500 MM QR, dependent on final road configuration and number of tunnels and bridges. Managed project team of 10 -12 comprising Project Engineers/CADD operators

Managed the major rehabilitation of water and sewer networks for the Town of Deep River, CANADA. Project value about $5 MM CDN.Oversaw design, tendering, contract administration, payment certification and project management together with a project team of 7-8 personnel.
Project consisted of the renewal of sanitary sewer networks, water distribution networks, storm sewer networks and complete restoration of street networks.

Provided technical oversight for the Canadian Military for the PRT (Provincial Reconstruction Team) in Afghanistan. Projects were for Canada's PRT (Provincial Reconstruction Team) designing the rebuild of infrastructure in Afghanistan.Worked closely with Military personnel and DCC (Defence Construction Canada) to design, tender and implement projects on the ground at KAF ( Kandahar Airfield) at CNS ( Camp Nathan Smith, Canada's permanent base in Kandahar City) and at several FOB's (Forward Operating Bases) located outside and off site from the main base at KAF in Afghanistan., Canada's permanent contribution to the rebuild of Afghanistan) and Barracks Building, Observation Towers and Building Feasibility Studies at Canada's permanent base CNS ( Camp Nathan Smith) in Kandahar City
Founder and MD of Wiebe Engineering Group Inc .from 1980-2008 . Directed and administered all projects undertaken by the firm. Responsibilities included day-to-day operations, management of all staff, company policies / procedures, client communication, and bottom line financial accountability, including liaison with lending institutions. Recruit personnel and manage staff competencies in required areas. Consult and negotiate with clients regarding the preparation of project specifications, writing and presenting proposals, engineering reports and findings.
