Managing and ensuring proper functioning of day to day controls, periodic monitoring activities and timely escalation/resolution of operational risk issues;
• Directly working with the Unit head of the largest team in Origination and Client Coverage for the UAE (63 employees) to monitor operational risk faced by the Unit;
• Leading and supporting implementation of operational risk initiatives;
• In charge of implementing controls within the business unit to meet all regulatory and internal requirements; and
• Source of reference for the business unit in order to facilitate and promote the understanding of operational risks and compliance requirements.
