Analysis of land survey data using surface analysis and surface checker tools in MX. Generation of catchments area and there by fixing the culvert points. Design of horizontal and vertical alignment of highways and interchanges, by using element method in AASHTO standards. Design of master string (centre line) of roads, roundabouts and junctions; master string (control line) of service roads, loops and ramps of interchanges using element method or IP point method. Design of carriageway edges, rest areas, lay-bys, road widening, junction design, junction grading, super elevation, median edges, shoulder edges, shoulder verges, footways and earthwork strings etc. using linemode. Quantity calculation by using interactive method. Development of long section and cross-section drawing using macros(input files). Development of MX 3D model for Visualisation in 3D Studio Max using Dynamite VSP.
Responsibilities includes the study of traffic and demographic data, land survey of project site, MX design of project roads and parking lot in IRC standard, testing of material, execution of construction work in site, checking of quantities for BOQ
Site in charge of residential, school and other multi-storeyed buildings. Quality control and material
testing.
Did Master of Technology in traffic and transportation planning from National Institute of Technology, Calicut.
