Outsourcing subcontractors and suppliers. Prepares material submittal as per standard form, follow up till get approved. Coordinate with subcontractor and supplier regarding their material submittal approval.
Quantity verification for all pay items of General Building Business Unit projects.
Maintain/Updating Subcontractor and Supplier log using BUILDSMART software
Prepares quantity take off and bill of quantities which lists individual civil, structural and architectural components based on the tender drawing and specification documents. Raise tender query for verification and incorporation in the proposal.
Participates in the detailed price analysis of all civil and architectural works such as preparation and sending of complete detailed inquiry for price quotation to prospective sub-contractors and suppliers locally and internationally.
Study and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
Perform a take-off and prepare a 'Bill of Quantities', which lists the individual, civil / structural / architectural components shown on drawings and described in specification documents.
Check on changes of design to assess the effects on cost
Participates in the detailed procurement engineering works such as preparation and sending of complete detailed inquiry for price quotation to prospective sub-contractors and suppliers locally and internationally. Preparation of tabulation of price quotation received from prospective subcontractor and supplier.
Performs other related duties that may be assigned from time to time like checking of plans, specification and quantity take off of materials based on latest revised drawing and compare it to tender drawings.
Checking of subcontractors and suppliers quoted price if conforming to project specifications and requirements.
Preparation of technical communication letters and reports.
Attend meetings, seminars, and other procurement-related tasks.
