Co-ordination and allocation of jobs with the requirements of Site Engineers
Explaining the new market trends to the designers to get the best furniture designs
Oversee operations and supervise workers like carpenters, polishers, upholstery team
Planning production meetings, work schedules, production activities, machine maintenance schedule, product quality of the furniture factory
Monitoring the safety standards and workplace safety rules of furniture factory
Make sure the product is meeting the level of quality demanded the customer
Maintain smooth work flow between different departments such as carpenters, polishers etc …
Develop and maintain good relationship with customers and suppliers related to furniture industry
Develop all necessary policies and procedures to ensure that plant and equipment is
effectively maintained to ensure maximum production efficiency
Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with different level of people inside the furniture unit and externally
Laisoning with various show room owners/managers for sales of the produced goods
Monitor and control the factory budget to ensure that all financial and business objectives are met
Representing the company for different commercial and business meetings.
Supervision of carpentry, interiors, upholstery and polishing works.
Local purchases of required raw materials
Visiting various clients /showrooms for market knowledge about new trends
Overall control of work flow
Prepare weekly work chart for carpenters, polishers and upholstery teams
Maintain strict discipline at the work place
Preparing the overtime schedule and calculations
