I am currently working on a long term assignment with the FedEx Express Agent in Cairo - Egypt as a Regional Country Manager Consultant on the following assignments:
1- Restructure their Customs Clearance process to improve service by 5 days. Improve customs satisfaction while reducing the cost of operations and identifying areas of opportunities to increase the Customs Clearance revenue or income.
2- Restructure the Domestic operation and turn the company round into profitability by reducing losses through increasing market share, cost cutting, service improvements and revenue generation programs.
3- Improve International and domestic line haul overall performance by reducing cost through the introduction of alternatives ways to move freight both International and domestic.
Directing International Marketing, Sales & Operations, Setting Up Country-Wide Infrastructure
Logistics, Sales & Operations consistently meeting or exceeding established targets
Holding full P&L responsibility for assets & expense budgets
Launching new Services & Markets such as putting Egypt on the map by reaching the highest revenue
Growth, excellence in quality standards in Customs clearance operation, ground operations and Customer Service. Establishing & Managing Large-Scale Agent/Contractor Networks

Managed FedEx Freighters Flights Operations, Managed the Ramp team responsible to handle the loading and off-loading of the containers and freight on/Off the Aircraft's ensuring on time departure. I also managed the Hub team responsible to sort and distribute the freight by country, loading and off-loading containers and managing the company line-haul.
