JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for tests and examination in the different fields of clinical pathology.
Perform various chemical, microscopic and bacteriologic tests to obtain data for use in diagnostic and treatment of diseases.
Receives written requisition from physician for routine or special laboratory test.
Set up and adjust laboratory equipment and apparatus such as chemical glassware, balance, microscope, slides and reagent.
Obtain laboratory specimen such as urine, blood and sputum from ward or directly from patients, using established laboratory techniques.
Performed lab. Works according to established procedures.
Record and prepares result of laboratory analyses.
Identifies and label all specimens to be retained and files them further research or reference.
Indicates amount to be charged to patient’s account.
Prepare cultures of samples for analysis.

Be present at the department on time and do the examination as requested
Process and receive all specimen coming the different ward/station for in and out patients and industrial cases
Perform all laboratory examination accurately and precisely with the use if quality control reagent.
Record all laboratory result in logbook provided for each examination.
Submit/endorse all laboratory result to the different ward/stations.
Keep all record on file and make them available at all times.
Performed other related function.
Make monthly report of all supplies and reagent being used.Set up and operate, and calibrate medical equipment
