1. Control and Automation (C&A) Engineer:
Conceptual Design (CD) Phase; Involves in generation/modification of Design Drawing such as, Process Engineering Flow Scheme (PEFS, aka P&ID), Cause and Effect Matrix (CEM) for both Process Shutdown and Fire & Gas, Shutdown Hierarchy Overview, Process Control and IPF Narrative, Safeguarding Memorandum Narrative, Process Description Narrative, & including the Migration of Fail Safe Control Program from the old system to the new one for the purpose of IO tags and logic verification, checking of tags and logic consistency of NEW IPS logic.
Detailed Design (DD) Phase; Verification of existing instruments from the old system to the new one, verification of instruments to be replace for the compliance in lap flange process connection, static graphic review printout checking in compliance with the existing PEFS/Graphics, site survey for orifice data printed on the orifice plate, checking IPS and FGS Logic and make necessary comments based on Shutdown Heirarchy/CEM/PEFS.
Execution Phase; Leading the Loop checking team for the new signal cables. Responsible for verification of field instruments with regards to isolation of each instruments from the old system. Leading the field team during the migration of the instruments/signals from the old system to the new Emerson Delta-V DCS system for process and Honeywell Safety Manager system for Instrumented Protective Function (IPF) & Fire and Gas System (FGS). Verification and migration of pumps signal through Interposing Relay Panel (IRP) to the new system. Mark-up of the documents for as-built.
