• Manages all Surface Mounting Technology Processes (SMT) and PCB Full Assemblies (FATP).
• Maintain all SMT & Dip Solder Equipment in good working condition such as Solder Paste Printers, High-speed Mounters, Reflow Furnace (N2 & Air), Auto Inspection (Optical & X-Ray), Solder-Wave, Fluxer by actively implementing and performing Preventive Maintenance Activities (Daily, Weekly & Monthly Schedule).
• Oversight & management of Department KPI’s (Productivity/Delivery, Quality, Cost & Safety) through lean manufacturing system approach and best practices for each section.
• Full control of Spare Parts and monitoring of Inventory & Preventive Maintenance Activities/ Schedule & Plan.
• Full control of inbound/outbound logistics (raw materials transporting, handling, storage /warehouse, inspection & testing).
• Define, measure and report capacity requirements including the flexibility and skills of team members.
• Analyze and provide innovation, implementation and maintenance of ‘Best in Class’ practices.
• Create investment justification based on improving inventory, throughput and operating expense.
• Deliver work place standardization through the use of initiatives such as 6’S and Visual Factory.
• Full control of production plan and sales target/forecast, coordinates with international and local suppliers’ inbound deliveries to support customer demands.
• Attend customer review and production readiness meetings and supporting planning activity.
• Define, lead and mentor the team to ensure capability of roles and process optimization.
• Reviews all Site Project Requirements (Drawing & Documentation Submittals/Transmittals) pertaining to Civil, Mechanical & Electrical.
• Monitors Civil Construction Activities & Status (Excavation/Foundation Preparation, Form Works, Steel Works, Concrete Slab Pouring, Column & Block Works, Plastering, Roof Trusses).
• Monitors Mechanical Work Activities & Status (Water Proofing, Plumbing Works, HVAC Installation, Water Heaters, Fire Fighting Works).
• Monitors Finishing Works/Activities & Status (Painting Works, Carpentry Works, Doors/Windows Installation, Plumbing Fixtures, Tiles/Ceramics, Room Partition Works, False Ceiling/Gypsum Works).
• Monitors Electrical Works/Activities & Status (Residential/Commercial Cabling, Cable Tray/Raceways Installation & Pulling for Industrial, Main Distribution Panel-Low Voltage, Transformer-Low Voltage, Generators & Auto-Changeover Switch, Pipe Cable Trenches Layout & Excavation, Wiring/Termination/Glanding).
• Prepares RFI’s (Request for Inspection) approval prior payment requisition, and prepare separate work orders for Punch List completion.
• Manages Material Procurement & Costing, RFQ’s, Job Orders/Work Order.
• Create work schedule/plan for manpower, equipment & materials mobilization.
• Create Weekly & Monthly Project Cost (Material, Manpower, and Equipment, Operating Cost).
• Manages dis-assembly/full assembly and testing of Re-manufactured Blackberry Phones.
• Maintains Equipment & Machines Peak Performance through Preventive Maintenance Activities such as Manual Soldering Station, BGA Rework Station, Solder Pot, Test Equipment.
• Monitors Repair (Cores) Performance/Inventory and status on daily & weekly basis.
• Daily Monitoring of Material Availability for daily production plan & deliveries.
• Full control of production plan through close monitoring of direct materials & sub-materials.
• Manages & Control Department KPI’s (Productivity/Delivery, Quality, Cost & Safety).
• Review & approve each customer control plan & process requirements.
• Identify and drive improvement projects linked directly to the reported metrics.
• Define, measure and report capacity requirements including the flexibility and skills of team members.
• Analyze and provide innovation, implementation and monitoring of ‘Best Practices.’
• Ensure that all health and safety requirements are followed in line with Company policies and procedures.
• Prepares performance appraisal of all subordinates & reports directly to CEO
• Supervise Control Panels Installation of all HVAC Machines, Plan & Design, Cable Tray Raceways for Control Cables, Cable Pulling, Wiring & Termination, Glanding.
• Supervises Piping & Instrumentation Works/Activities (Flowmeter, Diff. Pressure Switches, Temperature Instruments, Supply & Exhaust Fans, Gate Valves, Pumps/Motor).
• Create day by day progress report including raw materials inventory ( In/Out Control).
• Supervise group of workers for Residential, Commercial, Industrial Electrical Works.
• Monitors Workers Daily Performance including Time Keeping (Man-hours, Man-days).
Maintain all SMT Machines Productivity Performance, Inspection & Testing Quality Performance, Productivity & Improvement, Machine Maintenance Plan & Monitoring.
•In charge of all new model introduction (Costing & Capacity Analysis).
•Create Control Plan for each Customer Product Processes & Requirements and all New Product Introduction (NPI) & Development stage.
•Maintain all SMT Machines Productivity Performance, Inspection & Testing Quality Performance, Productivity & Improvement, Machine Maintenance Plan & Monitoring.
•In charge of all new model introduction (Costing & Capacity Analysis).
•Create Control Plan for each Customer Product Processes & Requirements and all New Product Introduction (NPI) & Development stage.
•Review and approve standard operating procedure (SOP) of each processes.
•Deliver work place standardization through the use of initiatives such as 6'S and Visual Factory.
•Influence and improve the process routing with Manufacturing Systems and Engineering.
•Monitor and report against the production schedule to achieve output targets.
•Attend contract review and production readiness meetings and supporting planning activity.
•Define, lead and mentor Engineering Team to ensure capability of roles and process optimization.
Reason for Leaving: Resigned (Company did not follow contract agreement upon regularization
Handles Productivity/Quality of SMT Production Lines and assures on-time delivery of finished goods to Main Assembly Production.
•Analyses and suggests action plan regarding mounting and printing defects on SMT Production Processes.
•Monitors each line quality and productivity status, and suggests improvement to maximize productivity with good quality.
•Manages daily quality performance of each SMT Lines
•Maintains Auto-Inspection machine (IPK-V2) detection performance through daily SPC & CPK report, monitoring of False Rate, Good Rate & Leak Rate.
•Deliver work place standardization through the use of initiatives such as 6’S and Visual Factory.
•Responsible for group members’ training and skills level up.
•Regularly supervise production section development in accordance with good practice guidelines and policies.
•Oversight section’s participation in the annual Quality Control Circle (QCC) competition.
•Attend all relevant mandatory training as and when required to do so.
•Ensure that all health and safety requirements are followed in line with Company policies and procedures.
•Ensure that all duties are carried out to the highest quality standards
