Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and ensuring they are always understood and practiced by the team.
Monitor the stock minimum level of quantities and fulfill stock as required.
Develop inventory control plans & procedures to achieve and maintain a high level of inventory Accuracy.
Owns and oversee the warehouse function including receiving, issuing, shipping, transportation, cycle counting, inventory control and reporting.
Coordinate the surveillance and investigation of stock shortages, deviations from specifications, damages to shipments and delivery of partial shipments.
Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices.
Create new metrics to track, evaluate, and improve warehouse productivity.
Ensure inventory accuracy and maintaining FIFO adherence & continually reviews existing processes and procedure to implement improvements.
Optimizing effective storage spaces
Manage workflow effectively, ensuring that productivity and quality standards are met or exceeded.
Deliver effective training and performance management to the warehouse workforce.
Responsible for consistently balancing work crews and achieving productivity standard set through corporate guidelines, providing a high level of customer service.
Monitor and review operational methods to facilitate both qualitative and quantitative improvements within the operation whilst ensuring continuous customer service.
