• Responsible for procuring products and services for all divisions of company
• Getting goods and services with most competitive prices and as per specific requirements
• Cutting any waste and unnecessary costs by streamlining process and fast track procurement of required goods and services
• Working with suppliers to ensure that key processes are running efficiently
• Follow up with suppliers to get the material on time with all the relevant documentation
• Maintain proper records of materials
• Initiate purchase requisition for the stock of all regular stores items whenever the stock approaches the minimum limit fixed in respect thereof
• Initiate action for stoppage of further purchasing when the stock level approaches the maximum limit
• Verify materials against purchase orders, count and inspect materials for any damage or defects
• Issue materials only in required quantities against authorized requisition notes
• Perform physical stock check at frequent intervals to find out any wrong issues, pilferage, etc.
