• Managing insurance for approximately 2000 Employees (addition deletion).
• Advising the HR team in dealing with employee relations issues and maintaining good relations.
• Conducts appropriate and timely research/analysis related to areas of responsibility.
• Provides direct assistance for the formulation and implementation of company policies and procedure as they affect the human resources area with a focus on employee relations.
• Assists in the development, implementation and evaluation of training programs related to employee relations, supervision and employee development.
• Performs data collection, preparation, and analysis to serve a variety of institutional reporting needs.
• Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Maintaining knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance
Recruiting, interviewing, testing and selecting employees to fill vacant positions
Planning and conducting new employee orientation to foster positive attitude towards company goals
Keeping records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations
Trains management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety
Advising management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
Responding inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs
Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance and equity within organization
Administrating salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization
Administrating benefits programs such as vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance
Investigating accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier
Conducting wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate
Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separation.
Be the first point of contact for all HR-related queries
Administer HR-related documentation, such as contracts of employment
Ensure the relevant HR database is up to date, accurate and complies with legislation
Assist in the recruitment process Set up interviews and issue relevant correspondence
Prepares typed copy from written or oral information in order to produce error free documents.
Screens incoming telephone calls in order to provide assistance or refer call to appropriate staff member
Composes correspondence from rough draft and transcription tapes regarding a wide variety of subjects
Researches purchase options and/or payment information in order to purchase necessary supplies and equipment,
complete forms, reconcile errors and ensure accuracy of document information.
Greets visitors in person in order to provide assistance or refer to appropriate staff member.
Assesses whether callers and/or visitors should have access to information being requested in order to ensure that
confidential information is disseminated to authorized persons only.
