QA/QC Inspector (Supply Staff for Civil & Architectural works)

Duties and Responsibilities:
⦁ Carry out regular site inspections for civil & architectural works
including materials delivered on/off site
⦁ Ensure the highest quality of works and completed in compliance
with all the approved specifications, drawings, methodology & procedure, Inspection & Test Plan, QCS and other relevant standards
⦁ Issues Non-Compliance Report (NCR) and Site Observation
Reports or Job Site Instructions if necessary
⦁ Attend & witness any testing activity on site & laboratory to
ensure all requirements are satisfied
⦁ Review & ensure proper documentation of all quality related
activities and inspection requirements
⦁ Proper coordination with the Contractor’s Quality Team to ensure
works are carried out with highest quality standard
⦁ Observe, record & report significant events, relevant issues &
even safety related affecting the quality & progress of the project
⦁ Carry out Snagging & De-snagging works with proper reporting &
documentation
⦁ Attend & assist final inspections, handover procedures of the
project and during Authority like QCDD & Municipality evaluation & inspections
Project : Msheireb Downtown Doha Project - Phase 3
Msheireb Downtown Doha Project: A multi-billion US dollar project to redevelop, regenerate and conserve the historical downtown of Heart of Doha. Its mixed-use development situated in the center of the city, comprises with lively urban neighborhoods, featuring premier office spaces, retails, leisure facilities, townhouses, upscale apartments, hotels, museums, civic services, and exciting cultural and entertainment venues. Cars and traditional services are strategically placed underground in several basement levels, ensuring a pedestrian’s friendly atmosphere.
Phase 03 Project includes 16 Mixed Used High-Rise & Mid-Rise Buildings:
•(1) High-Rise building (Hotel, 23-Storey Building + 2-Mezzanine levels)
•(14) Mid-Rise Commercials, Residential and Offices Buildings
•(1) Mosque (2-Storey Building)
•(6) Adult and children Swimming pools at roof decks
•Centralized Utility tunnels/Service Corridors at Basement levels
•Site-wide Basements Parking (4 Levels)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Overall supervision of all quality-related activities to ensure the works are completed in accordance with the approved contract specification, drawing (latest & controlled drawings), materials, methodology & procedure, QCS & relevant standards.
•Proper coordination with the construction team including sub-contractors by constant monitoring & internal inspection proactively to avoid NCR & delay during consultant/client/third party inspection.
•Organize & carry out Internal Quality Training (Toolbox Trainings).
•Ensure that all relevant & approved versions of applicable documents, drawings and RFI’s references etc. are available prior to proceed any activity at site & during inspection.
•Ensure that all testing and monitoring of all measuring equipment and surveying apparatus are checked, calibrated, and the required calibration certificate must be properly documented.
•Ensure all materials on site are approved and regular monitoring of its condition & expiration date must be thoroughly checked.
•Documentation and proper filing of all inspection log request/CRFI/RFI, Shop drawings, Non-Conformity, Corrective actions, Method of Statements & ITP, Toolbox trainings and materials approval certificates.
•Preparation of inspection documents (CRFI) & proper coordination with the consultant/client/third party inspection.
•Attending third party inspection off site including mockup
•Snagging works using advance Software by snagR that includes automated progress monitoring & reporting
•To ensure that the entire programs are carried out on time & in accordance with all required approvals.
•To ensure that all issued NRC including Job Site Instruction are completely closed and properly documented prior to any civil defense (QCD) & Client’s inspections during project hand over stage.

Duties and Responsibilities:
⦁ QA/QC inspections to ensure good quality of work & in accordance
with the approved requirements, good construction practices and only approved materials are used in compliance with the approved specification & shop drawing
⦁ Primarily responsible for the overall supervision of structure and
finishing work including execution of job as per approved shop drawings, checking of layout, steel reinforcement, form work, block work, plaster, tiling, facade works & paint etc.
⦁ Conduct regular job site inspections proactively to avoid possible
NCR & Municipality inspection comments
⦁ Liaising with consultants & local authorities/Municipality such as
documents submittal to ensure approvals without delay
⦁ Monitor, evaluate and ensure that all work is being carried out
safely, and as per approved drawings & specification
⦁ Checks shop drawing for site instructions & as per approved
requirements
⦁ Involved in the preparation of necessary procedure, toolbox talk &
work instructions required to ensure that quality system is implemented efficiently on time
