MOGSC is a non-government organization formed to serve the Malaysian oil & gas service provider. Job scope/duties to ensure MOGSC objectives are met, which include but not limited to the followings:
~ Ensure the overall success of MOGSC as the premier representation of the Malaysian Oil & Gas Service Providers.
~ Ensure the smooth running of the Secretariat and MOGSC staffs are working effectively
~ Follow through all decisions by the Exco and work closely with Exco areas of their individual responsibilities
~ Ensure MOGSC portal is operational, updated, error-free and effective
~ Address all inquiries brought to MOGSC by members and ensure regular and close contacts with members
~ Ensure timely collection of annual subscription, effective publication and distribution of the Directory and Planner
~ Ensure members’ information is updated and error-free in records
~ Coordinate MOGSC activities and events to ensure they are successful and promote positive awareness of MOGSC
~ Maintain continuous drive through a variety of initiatives, engagements, promotions, activities and networking
~ Work closely with MOGSC Working Groups by attending all meetings and follow through with their approved activities
~ Engage with PETRONAS, industry stakeholders, government and relevant parties
~ Organize events to ensure max values for members such as technical talks, seminars, dialogues etc
~ Coordinate requests for MOGSC to sponsor or lend MOGSc’s name and logo
~ Directly involved in procurement, conducting interviews for recruitment, monthly staff salary & claims and daily administrative of secretariat office.

To provide an efficient and responsive administrative, organisational, and logistical service to the Senior Vice President (SVP), helping him to manage and prioritise his time. Act as his first point of contact with people from both inside and outside the organization. Capable of competently dealing with situations in the SVP’s absence and confident enough to commission work on SVP's behalf. Additionally, keep abreast of organisational issues and have a good understanding of the organisation's aims and objectives. Above all, main role is to support SVP efforts to reach his targets and deliver on his strategic goals.

Typical responsibilities:
1) Secretarial duties
• Dealing with incoming email, faxes and post, often corresponding on behalf of Senior Vice President
• Managing and maintaining diary and making appointments
• Arranging travel and accommodation
• Producing documents, reports and presentations
• Screening telephone calls, enquiries and requests and handling them where appropriate
• Occasionally follow SVP to take notes at meetings or to provide general assistance during presentations
• Organising and attending meetings and ensuring the SVP is well-prepared for meetings
• Carrying out research, company search, due diligence and risk assessment and presenting findings to SVP especially in upstream sector (exploration, development & production)
• Assist in delegating work to others in his absence
• Keeping a proper filing system on general correspondences for easy reference, retrieval and maintenance
• Maintain purchasing record and inventory level
2) Event Management
• Involve and taking part in planning, organizing, coordinating and managing events organized by POG ie Iftar & Hari Raya gathering etc
• Involve and taking part in planning, organizing, coordinating and managing exhibition ie OGA & MOGSEC etc
• Attending oil & gas events/functions as representative together with SVP or during his absence
3) Reports
• To coordinate & inform relevant departments to prepare the necessary report
• To coordinate in preparing Board, EXCO and Management report/updates etc
