Responsible for being the main point of contact for patients, and contributing to the provision of the high standards of patient care.
Working shifts alongside expert consultants and a multi disciplinary team of other healthcare specialists, observing and recording the condition of patients, assisting with tests and evaluations, & carrying out routine investigations.
Caring for patients who are suffering from acute and long-term illnesses and diseases.
Administering drugs, medication and injections to patients.
Treating patients with respect and dignity, and giving attention to individual needs and wishes.
Prioritizing workloads and allocating patients appropriately.
Maintaining high clinical standards and high levels of quality care delivery.
Providing information, emotional support and reassurance to patients and relatives.

Main Activities
Receive, direct and relay telephone messages and fax messages
Direct the general public to the appropriate staff member
Maintain the general filing system and file all correspondence
Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings, conferences and conference
telephone calls
Make preparations for Band Council and committee meetings
Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies
Respond to public inquiries
Provide word-processing and secretarial support
Type confidential documents on a word processing system
2. Provide support to the Chief and First Nation Administrator
Main Activities
Assist the Chief and First Nation Administrator as requested
Provide administrative services for the Chief and First Nation Administrator
3. Perform other related duties as required Executive Secretary.
Responsible for the entry level of pre-hospital emergency medical provider. EMTs provide rapid in-field treatment and transport to higher medical providers. work in conjunction with paramedics, nurses, physicians, and other members of the health care team.
Collects throat culture specimens.
Greets patients and instructs them in proper specimen collection methods.
Labels specimens for identification purposes and enters specimen data into computer.
Maintains alphabetical filing system for patient information.
Answers telephone calls and routes calls to appropriate member of the medical or laboratory staff..
Keeps work areas clean and orderly; washes laboratory glassware as needed.
