I create intelligence and reporting using SQL queries (Redshift and SQL Server). I build data marts, data warehouses, Power BI reports and other end-users dashboards for analytical purposes.
I design data warehouses and data structures using the Ralph Kimball methodology.

I work with the organization to improve the current solutions and create an architecture that is cloud-based primarily using Microsoft Azure products as Teambase is MS Partner. I create data flows, task dependencies, ETL flows, Enterprise Data Warehouses and lead a team to create a solution that is industry leading and flexible. We assist clients with Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS technologies by migrating on-premise data and systems to the Azure. I create comparative analysis and predictive analysis for business users to streamline their business and day-to-day operations. I spearheaded 3 projects with data migration for OSN Sports, in-house Application DW Development and Azure data migration for TECOM Group. I have improvised the current EDW by introducing governance and BI policies in the environment.
Responsible for managing the data requirements and reporting functions of the organization. I introduced cost saving reporting solutions and other alternatives to license-based software solutions. Integrated the QAs and Coaches to the Agents using SSRS reports so that a more intuitive monitoring process could be performed. The analytics produced a more effective management tool for the Executive team and the floor staff. I reduced costs of up to R200 000 in the first month of employment by using industry standard techniques for reporting and dashboard design.

QlikView dashboard development and reporting using the DAR (dashboard-analytics-reporting) principle for Morgan Stanley. Created automated reports using CIA Enterprise Reporting software and NPrinting. Wrote intricate algorithms in QlikView and SQL Server to reduce data processing times and manage load balancing. Presented several project proposals and designs to senior executives and stakeholders.
Implemented latest technology to utilize fast-moving data, trends and world changes in BI and big data. Transformed large sets of data from inception to analytics using Alteryx, Lavastorm, SQL Server, Excel, and QlikView. Modeled data warehouses based on Ralph Kimball's methodology.
Developed SSRS web reports for International companies. Coordinated projects in Uganda for Umeme Prepaid Electricity and in Angola for EDEL. Was entrusted to finalise the project and deliver professional services to the client. Spearheaded in-house reports & data driven subscriptions using SSRS and SQL Server 2008 R2. Developed DTS and SSIS packages for ETL jobs to run of multiple DBs for various purposes such as dashboard and analytical reporting.

Developed and maintained a DW environment using ETL tools such as SSIS and SQL Server stored procedures. Perform daily DW extracts and loads into OLAP models and OLTP tables in SQL Server.
