 Design Riyadh’s Water & Waste Water networks and review the existing networks.
 Perform hydraulic modelling and analysis of Riyadh’s water and sewerage networks using WaterCAD and SewerCAD.
 Conducting a study to review and evaluate Riyadh’s existing water and sewage systems networks.
 Study and determine the extent of the efficiency of these networks considering urban development and
growing population in Riyadh with remedy proposals and solutions.
 Analyze and identify major limitations, bottlenecks, and requirements for water and wastewater assets.
 Provide a rehabilitation program for improving Water supply and Wastewater collection systems for
addressing the future needs of the system through the future planning periods, using continuous water
supply (24 hours per day) as a key condition.
 Review STP effluent for redistribution as TSE, to be used as a substitute for non-domestic purposes
(irrigation, industrial, etc.) in order to reduce demand on limited domestic quality water resources.
 Develop and present training to NWC internal staff on engineering software and required tools to peak their performance in Riyadh City Business Unit.

Meinhardt is providing the design and engineering services for an EPC contract between the Ministry of Interior and South Borders Guards and three main contractors. The projects differs from residential, commercial and business projects. The infrastructure scope of works includes storm water drainage; Potable water; Wastewater networks and treatment; Power networks; Telecommunications and Road Networks.
Detailed Design scope for the buildings includes Civil & Structural and MEP while the Executive Architecture scope includes Design Audit and Detailed Design.
Duties include but are not limited to:
 Providing civil and infrastructure design, analysis and hydraulic modeling for the infrastructure networks.
 Preparation of design documentation and drawings, design calculations and report writing, specifications and tender documentation, and other relevant material to meet the project requirement.
 Checking and approving all drawings and calculations carried out by design Engineers and CAD Operators.
 Delivery of assigned projects in line with Client expectation for time, cost and quality
 Checking and approving the final output produced by the team and provide timely feedback and coaching where the quality of the produced work is not in line with client expectations and Meinhardt standard operating procedures
 Completion of engineering work within agreed program.
 The correctness and accuracy of own work and that of the team.
 Day to day coordination with members of the design team
 Ensuring that all design work is carried out in accordance with Company’s standard operating procedures;
 Reporting to the project manager and director in a timely manner any matters that are likely to affect the project work plan, work quality or profitability and agree appropriate actions to eliminate or mitigate the risk.
