Job Description: • Receives endorsement from the outgoing shifts and endorses to the incoming shifts for the continuance of client care.
• Carries out admissions, discharges and transfer procedures.
• Prepares and administers medications and other treatments as indicated record and evaluates its effects to clients.
• Plans client care goals, Implements and Evaluates effectiveness of nursing care in relations to goals.
• Supervises the performances of junior staff nurses and other non-professionals in the unit.
• Collaborates and coordinates with Physicians, Co-staff and other members of the health care team in rendering and providing client care need.
• Assists in dressing changes, wound irrigation and maintain aseptic technique at all times.
• Records and reports accurately the patient's condition his/her progress and other needs while maintaining strict confidentiality of his/her medical records and information.
• Maintain Aseptic technique and promotes the Hospital infection control program.
• Maintains accurate record on the unit's census, reports, records and other statistical information.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's condition.
• Participates in meetings and training programs
• Implements Hospital rules and regulations.
• Making weekly schedules of our nurses.
• Provides instructions and health teaching upon patient's discharge.
