Send out CNC programs and print out drawings for operations lay-out and set-up of part to be machined.
•Changes or variance with standard CNC machining operations.
•Resolve with Product Engineer in-charge discrepancies between full size and part route tickets.
•Updates and revised CAD drawings and CNC programs as required by new methods
•Generate CAD Drawings from P.E.D. full size and Part Route Tickets and converting Cad system to CNC programs for machining furniture parts.
•Carries out other related activities relative to CNC operations or as assigned by superior.
•Secure the needed full size drawing from Product Engineering and coordinates for revisions and changes.
•Logs of Job in order to monitor the process flow of every tool details and toolmaker’s efficiency as well.
•Coordinates with the Requester and Designer before machining about the updates and changes of their tooling.
•Coordinate with production Supervisors for prioritizing Part Route Tickets listings and materials.
•Provides Tool path program by using CAD CAM, and runs the post processor to convert Numerical Control Intermediate (NCI) into Numerical Control (NC) to communicate machine.
•Receives NC program from the CNC programmer and follow specified tool used in program.
