• Start and bring generators (main and emergency) on line for single and parallel operation.
• Measure insulation resistance of windings. Clean and inspect windings and exciters. Perform all required preventative maintenance.
• Isolate circuits. Troubleshoot, service, maintain and repair breakers, including removing breakers if required and installing replacement.

• Clean inside switchboard, including bus bars, following proper procedures. Properly check connections. Troubleshoot service, maintain and repair switchboard.
• Clean, inspect, repair/replace brushes, brush gear, commutator, windings and Connections. Measure insulation resistance of windings. Troubleshoot and clear ground faults. Perform all required preventative maintenance.
• Carrying out PMS on STAR IFS maintenance system and taking out maintenance work order & closing the work order after completion.
• Preparing of material requisition through IFS online procedure.
• Preparation for Pre Rig move & performing the rig move check list.
• Installation of Satellite Dish, laying of coaxial TV cables, setting of satellite network.
• Maintenance of Draw works resistance banks, i.e. cleaning of resistance banks, connection checking, air pressure & temperature switches.
• Rectifying the EX-rated equipments on the rig.
